- We've filmed our E3 reactions before. This year.. we thought we would record us watching the 2013 Nintendo direct. Here's us reacting to the Smash Bros & Mega Man trailer. Enjoy..
NOTE: For those of you that keep commenting on Emerl's "Mother" comment, yes, he knows. There is no need to keep commenting on that.
Also, about the girl, she knows Megaman. She's not a fan. She gave them that look because she didn't really get why they were just so darn excited, and because of the amount of noise.
Not everybody is a hardcore gamer, whatever your opinion of what constitutes that may be. Different people prefer different games, so there's no reason for you or anyone else to bash somebody just because they mistook something for something else, or simple because they never played a famous game or something. Please keep these comments to yourself.

The team behind Smash Bros gave us so much more with that minute Mega Man goodness than the freaking company that owns him have done with him in 4 years.
I want to be pissed off by that fact, but I'm having to much fun watching your guy's reactions... and then, of course the reveal itself... and hell, everything about the video was great!

It's reactions like these that make me wonder why Nintendo don't do E3 live on stage anymore.

E3 reactions: Where the highest pitched screams come from the men, and the calm collected composure from the ladies....what a wonderful world we live in.
The final big monster is not from Mother but from Megaman one. He is the first boss in Dr. Wily's stage and you can see the Wily castle in the background. I love your reactions. This game is gonna be so great.

To be fair, there is an enemy similar looking to Yellow Devil in the Earthbound games, and in that they didn't really show what finishes the Yellow Devil (his eye) but I've never played the Mother games before so i wouldn't know what enemies are similar to characters in other games.
The 2 guys get super hyped, and the girl's just sitting there like "What's a Mega Man?"

I adore the fact that this year's E3 footage has the power to make every grown adult who watches it devolve into 12 year olds. :P It's ok though, I shed tears of nerdy joy when I saw the Megaman reveal.

I agree with this. I'm a huge gamer and I can tell you about every little detail about all of my favorite series but there are games that are classics to others that I'm not too fond of, Mega Man being one of them.
I will say though that I at least know characters and I don't think I'll ever see a character, at least a main one, and not know where he/she's from.

He's not a Megaman fan, though... His first Megaman game was Megaman 9 in 2008, he even has a video of it.

Yeah, people sort of went apeshit over that. He was just really excited and it didn't help that they only showed the Yellow Devil for two seconds. I can see why he confused it with the gold Starman at first.

Actually, Mother is pretty popular, outside of America, and even inside. I just don't think all the games were released here.
Between the girl, the "that's from Mother", and IGN's "frame-by-frame recap", I'm seriously beginning to doubt that there are any people out there who are actually hardcore gamers (and no, I don't mean Battle Duty Zombies 4 Dead or any of that crap, I mean people who are fully devoted to games and no everything about them to even a philosophical or emotional degree).
