if i love a song so much i search for the composers...i think they should get the credit as well as the singers. Right Before your Eyes is one of my favorite songs. am grateful for Ian Thomas for making a good music. i'm impressed he sings too. Thank God he's still alive...maybe this message could reach him somehow. THank you Mr. Thomas.. God bless you for your music
just watched this with my son Jess - Ian is one of the only artists that helped me to help my son Jess, jess has autism and he was just not reachable almost ever, didn't cry when wet, hungry, mad, pissy, you know all the stuff that kids do, I was and am that playing songs like this and pretty much anything in the Ian Thomas/ Kim aka Max, Toronto (can't list any more) suffice to say the bands that I played in womb he got, and still gets

wonderful- been looking for this song (kept looking for b sides or compilations or bootlegs of America!) for over 35 years -oh please bury me with Google lol. Tonight I finally found it when I typed some chorus lyrics into Google. I am so glad to see this! great acoustic version of this; much better than the original Ian- KUDOS voice in fine form too.
Ian still sounds great live. Love this song. And great stage banter. Great video quality and sound. I feel like I was there. They look like they're having fun! Hope they keep touring! Thanks for posting this!
I was there. It was pretty cool. I first saw him when in 1974 when he opened for The Stampeders. Jason and Sheldon Valleau. used to put on The Mountain View Music Festival and I was lucky enough to see him again in 2009. Got to see some good old Canadian headliners at this event. It was always a good weekend of fun. Grateful to the Polyjesters, good musicians in their own right.

I have the most obscure question for Mr Ian Thomas. Here it goes. When I was really young in about 1980, I worked at a printing place. One of the guys there mentioned he knew or was related to Ian Thomas, at least that's what I think I remember he said. I forget his name but I think he was from Devon alberta. Does this ring any bells Mr thomas?
The 5 "thumbs down" r HOSERS!!!!! How can any1 do that 2 the LEGENDARY IAN THOMAS? I was 6 Y.O.. when this MFin' CLASSIC hit the airwaves. Should've been #1 on the charts but PAYOLA SABOTAGED IAN THOMAS!!!!! Sucks if u ask me bc Ian Thomas is the EPITOME OF WHAT AN ENTERTAINER TRULY IS!!!!! Though American-born (from Detroit, MI); I pay my riteful respects 2 my Canadian brethren bc THEY KEEP IT REAL!!!!! Look no further than IAN THOMAS!!!!!

True. But also likely because America made a hit of another song he wrote. Right Before Your Eyes
