In the last night of old hyrule, a mad lord forsaken by the gods fought the Hero of the Seas. He fought as a final cry of anguish as the land he loved and fought for was drowned by the falling sea, even though he knew the battle was already lost. Even if he were to land a blow on either of the traitors, he knew the fates would sooner shatter his blade than harm the children. He fought not for victory nor satisfaction, but blood curdling spite against the cruel gods and their artifacts. He would make his last breaths in the dwindling air as strong and barren as the winds in the home he lost. Can you feel that wind, hero?
How come 5 years have passed and I have JUST NOW found this?! This is by far the best version of Song of Storms ever produced!

In my opinion this song would be great to hear while sailing the seas in Wind Waker, or if in botw 2 if you could sail more of the ocean. This rendition of the song really gives off pirate vibes to me, and it would feel pretty badass to brave the treacherous waves as Link in the middle of a furious storm while this song plays. Great job man👍

I’ve listened to this version of the Song of Storms hundreds of times since first coming across it months ago. Even now, after listening to other versions, none can come close to how incredible this one is. I love how well you portrayed the “storm” aspect of the song which no other version seems to recognize. I know you’re probably busy with Halo music, which I won’t criticize - music is best created when you’re enjoying it - but I really think you should try some more Legend of Zelda music again! Either way, just wanted to take the time out to appreciate you for my favorite song for the last few months! Keep up the awesome work!

Thing about this song is that it simply exists in the chaos between dimensions. Link and the windmill keeper each experience the other teaching them the tune. It breaks the fabric of reality similar to how it splits the sky and makes it rain.

My favourite version of my favourite tune from Ocarina of time. Of all the gorgeous music from that game the Song of Storms was the most haunting and it played its way into my very soul. I'm in love everytime I hear it.

i love how it stays close to the original instead of a complete genre switch.
I do not usually comment, but this deserv it, a (GOT, pirates of the caribbean and zelda) mix and this is the result, absolutely awesome.
The only thing it needs... is using several different thunder samples as percussion, with perhaps some softened howling winds occasionally in the background and occasional softened hard rain noises or something.
I get series Pirates of the Caribbean vibes from this at points, especially after 0:55! Incredible job!

Am I the only one who hears Koji Kondo and Jesper Kyd in this piece? It sounds like the right fusion between Ocarina of Time and Assassin's Creed 2 to me at least. I can hear Song of Storms mixed with Earth from the AC2 soundtrack, both of which are my personal favs from the games they're introduced in and musts on my video game soundtrack playlist.
