Sexual sin was my biggest struggle to overcome, I was emotionally attached to guy that never even cared about me. I’m doing better now and always asking God for peace and strength thank you so much you are a true blessing.
Yep! Some of this I can relate to. I plan on not having sex until marriage either. I was emotionally attached to a guy who manipulated me all the time so if a guy tries that with me I shut it down quickly I don’t mess around.
I have been abstinent since getting saved (going on year 4 now), and LET ME TELL YOU. Dating without having sex gives you MUCH BETTER JUDGEMENT. You realize that you were overly attached to your ex's simply because you had that emotional tie that comes from having sex with someone. Removing sex makes you better able to see the people you date for who they truly are, and not just how they make you feel.

I was growing my relationship with God and knew that if I were to get married it would need to be a man sent from God because I was happy being single. I dated many Christian men who would want to be intimate and I knew that wasn't who God would have sent me. Then I met my husband who also was growing in Christ and wanted to wait. I saved myself for marriage and it was the best decision I made! I wouldn’t change a thing. Honestly it took so much pressure off of having sex, because neither of us had to worry about comparison or that our hearts were in a different place. I’m a single mother and I have been celibate for over two years now. Before coming to Christ, I was comfortably living in sin, chasing after lust, addicted to sex, and seeking validation from men. It’s so important to remember, just because you’re not a virgin, doesn’t mean it’s too late to repent and start over. Thank God for His mercy, grace, and patience! Jesus has restored, redeemed, and renewed me 🙌🏼 The joy of the Lord is my strength and He gives me such peace in waiting for my husband, because I know it will be in God’s perfect will & timing. I can definitely testify to this. I desired to wait until marriage but I recently backslid due to a guy who manipulated me into sleeping with him. I really thought he was a true Christian but it turns out that he was just a wolf in sheep's clothing. I'm still trying to heal from that traumatic experience and I'm trusting in God that everything will work out according to His plan

Its so much easier to walk away when there isn't a soul tie attached. The only people that linger in my mind are are ones that I laid down with. I'm currently 3 years and 5 months abstinent . Deliverance will set you free not just from pride but any other thing that is attached to you through either a generational curse or from things you did in your past or even now. God wants you to be free from all bondage.
I was literally just writing down verses from the Bible all associated with the concept of Pride and how dangerous it is. Throw yourself at Gods mercy and talk to him about all you’ve been prideful about and ask Him to tear down every alter in your heart that exalts itself above Him. Your understanding of them will grow when you realize if u take one verse out of context you start to add things and change things and place burdens that God never placed on people but you accidentally did because of you taking his words out of context. The Bible says that someone who is born again is a new creature in Christ. And he washes our sins away. You can never undo what you did but you can be washed of the guilt and condemnation and receive the Holy Spirit that guides you away from committing the same sins and know that in Jesus your sins are cast away. Some people don’t know Christ and lived life according to the flesh like everyone has at some point until God saved them. So don’t call filthy what Christ has washed. Instead of focusing on the rules placed in the Old Testament you should focus on your sins and coming to a true repentance of them. Not placing rules on people when you know that you yourself don’t follow all of them. Before you read the Bible pray and ask God to guide you to truly understand so that your own mind and understanding does not mislead you so that you can come to know the true God and not condemn yourself in legalism. I applaud you on your decision, Vivian. I, too, have been celibate for several years now, and I don't have any regrets for making that choice. Feeling emotionally empty after every encounter became a heavy burden to carry around. I'm a happier person now as a result.

I'm a music artist & producer and in the music industry (or even in the world today in general), what's supposed to be the right thing is by no means not the norm, in this case sex before marriage. I've been married twice, divorced twice, and being in the industry that i'm in, sleeping around seems to be the standard. But I've decided, as a follower of Christ, this wasn't for me anymore. My church does the same thing especially for young singles to never be alone with the opposite sex. We can speak to them but if others are around to keep us accountable
Here's a question? What if you're a health care worker CNA? Are you gonna say sorry male I can't be your nurse at your house? Because most of those CNA nurses that will go out to homes of an elderly man are women nurses. Too say you can't be alone with somebody of the opposite sex pretty much takes away from being a CNA nurse. Correct me if I'm wrong about that It's been a long time since my grandpa was here on Earth needing medical assistance from nurses that will come over and help him out before my grandpa went to heaven. One last name What about somebody that works with the department of the blind you have a blind man I hope this makes sense here. Because to say that men and women can't be alone then that means. You will need male nurses to go to patients home still assist them.

Sexual immorality destroys the soul. "Fornication" is included in that. I think everything sexual without being in marriage is sexual immorality. It's just draining and destructive.
This was truly amazing to watch! It is so beautiful and refreshing to see a young woman who has such respect for herself and her body! I’m a 29 year old male and little over two years ago, I decided that I was going to abstain from sex until marriage. This decision has made dating pretty difficult, because I’m somewhat upfront about my decision to remain abstinent. I’m not saying it’s the first thing that comes outta my mouth, but when we would segway into that type of conversation, I definitely bring it up. At first it was disheartening dating women that don’t feel the same and it made me question remaining abstinent. But it’s as you said in reason #6, if they aren’t willing to do the Will of God, then they aren’t the one for me! This decision has been one of the greatest of my life and has really strengthened my relationship with God. However, I am human and not perfect. As of recent, I have fallen into these temptions and have had a little struggle with pornography. It is very embarrassing to admit, but I know if I bring this darkness to THE LIGHT Jesus Christ, no battle is too big to conquer! I prayed hard last night about this and this video was one of the first things I see this morning! Never have I seen your channel or any of your videos, but today I see this one 🙏 it never fails to amaze me how God works in mysterious ways and through many vessels! I was about to stumble into sex outside of marriage because of how I know my future marriage won't be perfect, because of how getting married doesn't solve sexual sin or change the heart, because of how I might probably never get married, and because of how I'll probably never find a man who is going to treat me right because of how it's easy to go for the bad guys first. I have been abstinent since getting saved (going on year 4 now), and LET ME TELL YOU. Dating without having sex gives you MUCH BETTER JUDGEMENT. You realize that you were overly attached to your ex's simply because you had that emotional tie that comes from having sex with someone. Removing sex makes you better able to see the people you date for who they truly are, and not just how they make you feel.

The initial effects (for a man) might be unnoticeable at first. But you should consider something. Things like abortions, broken homes, and STD's wouldn't even be issues today if everyone just waited until they got married to have sex. On top of that, the best environment to raise children in is a home with a married mom and dad. The modern view of sexuality has brought us to a situation where the whole modern world is destroying itself because we want to satisfy our hormonal feelings right away. If you do things the right way you are much more likely to keep yourself and your children from becoming statistics.

Your understanding of them will grow when you realize if u take one verse out of context you start to add things and change things and place burdens that God never placed on people but you accidentally did because of you taking his words out of context. The Bible says that someone who is born again is a new creature in Christ. And he washes our sins away. You can never undo what you did but you can be washed of the guilt and condemnation and receive the Holy Spirit that guides you away from committing the same sins and know that in Jesus your sins are cast away. Some people don’t know Christ and lived life according to the flesh like everyone has at some point until God saved them. So don’t call filthy what Christ has washed. Instead of focusing on the rules placed in the Old Testament you should focus on your sins and coming to a true repentance of them. Not placing rules on people when you know that you yourself don’t follow all of them. Before you read the Bible pray and ask God to guide you to truly understand so that your own mind and understanding does not mislead you so that you can come to know the true God and not condemn yourself in legalism. I'm a music artist & producer and in the music industry (or even in the world today in general), what's supposed to be the right thing is by no means not the norm, in this case sex before marriage. I've been married twice, divorced twice, and being in the industry that i'm in, sleeping around seems to be the standard. But I've decided, as a follower of Christ, this wasn't for me anymore. Here's a question? What if you're a health care worker CNA? Are you gonna say sorry male I can't be your nurse at your house? Because most of those CNA nurses that will go out to homes of an elderly man are women nurses. Too say you can't be alone with somebody of the opposite sex pretty much takes away from being a CNA nurse. Correct me if I'm wrong about that It's been a long time since my grandpa was here on Earth needing medical assistance from nurses that will come over and help him out before my grandpa went to heaven. One last name What about somebody that works with the department of the blind you have a blind man I hope this makes sense here. Because to say that men and women can't be alone then that means. You will need male nurses to go to patients home still assist them.

Your honesty is a real blessing! You are setting an example for so many woman nowadays. We should not sell ourselves short! We are worth so much more than the cycles of heartaches and heartbreaks. This was truly amazing to watch! It is so beautiful and refreshing to see a young woman who has such respect for herself and her body! I’m a 29 year old male and little over two years ago, I decided that I was going to abstain from sex until marriage. This decision has made dating pretty difficult, because I’m somewhat upfront about my decision to remain abstinent. I’m not saying it’s the first thing that comes outta my mouth, but when we would segway into that type of conversation, I definitely bring it up. At first it was disheartening dating women that don’t feel the same and it made me question remaining abstinent. But it’s as you said in reason #6, if they aren’t willing to do the Will of God, then they aren’t the one for me! This decision has been one of the greatest of my life and has really strengthened my relationship with God. However, I am human and not perfect. As of recent, I have fallen into these temptions and have had a little struggle with pornography. It is very embarrassing to admit, but I know if I bring this darkness to THE LIGHT Jesus Christ, no battle is too big to conquer! I prayed hard last night about this and this video was one of the first things I see this morning! Never have I seen your channel or any of your videos, but today I see this one 🙏 it never fails to amaze me how God works in mysterious ways and through many vessels! You are doing a great job and keep up the good work! Your videos are reaching more people than you can ever know!

Thankyou for sharing! I never had sex but it doesn't always mean my mind or my heart have always been pure. I was about to stumble into sex outside of marriage because of how I know my future marriage won't be perfect, because of how getting married doesn't solve sexual sin or change the heart, because of how I might probably never get married, and because of how I'll probably never find a man who is going to treat me right because of how it's easy to go for the bad guys first. Thank God for convictions! The more mature you become in your waiting, the more likely you'll have a healthy relationship.
