YANSEN. Not Jansen. Geeze. She is Dutch. The J is pronounced as a Y. Not hard. Not difficult. She was not on the show but recorded at her home. She had gall bladder surgery two weeks prior and her Dr. would not let her fly.
Relax pumpkin, there are no FIXED rules for pronouncing proper nouns -- even within the SAME language it matters how the person with that name pronounces it. That said, in Dutch the a in Jansen is pronounced like the a in the English word father.
