Very nice point on the premiums of 1oz silver to fractional gold. I’ll look more kindly at the fractional with this perspective in mind. Thanks for sharing your purchases. Cheers!
Thanks! Finding the lower premiums are usually the hard part. I have purchased several gold grams over the past year at under $70. Doing so really showed me the advantages of dollar cost averaging.
Hope you enjoy it! I really enjoy mine. Remember, this is not a race. It has taken many months to acquire most of my favorites. Keep on picking things up a little at a time when you can and you'll eventually look back and feel that sense of accomplishment. (If you don't already)
I'm a bit of a Square myself, so I really dig most Square bars and coins. I have a lot of rectangular Silver, but there is just something sexy about being Square!
I can't afford 1oz gold either. That's why I buy silver, and then eventually I swap. I end up with more gold than if I buy grams. Sometimes, I get a good deal on quarter ounce gold. If you are collecting and you enjoy it, then nothing matters. I would say buy all the grams you want.
I did a ratio trade for gold at a coin show a while back. There's a video in the Playlist. I have noticed through other content that dealers like the fractional gold better because it moves quicker. They also tend to hold a good percentage of their premium lately when traded.
I’m a coin dealer in the UK 🇬🇧 just stumbled upon this. I love Geigers as well , because I make a killing on them. When I buy I buy @ spot or 2-5% above spot. You guys paying double spot for fancy plastic. 🤦♂️ Stick to rounds / bullion. When sold it’s about the weight/ purity nothing else. Only other “ collectors” will buy numismatic value and when in a jam those people are not around. Now if you’re buying CC Morgan’s yea keep going. Anything else you just making NGC , COC and the rest of the grading companies Rich. People will literally Submit an American silver eagle get a MS69 grade and now you’re automatically in the red.
Being a dealer sure helps to add to a personal stack taking advantage of wholesale pricing from vendors and sellers "in a jam." I don't have an LCS nearby so I purchase most items online. My Geiger collection is a very small portion of my stack that I enjoy, like a fine wine, whereas the rest is a keg of Strongbow ready to be released if needs be. I only have one graded piece of anything in my possession.
Got*It would have been mine and I let it go…it was a buck a go and the cheapest one that went #50…kicking myself in the a$$ right now but it’s a gamble
Beautiful Geiger collection! Just recently started on mine!
They don't disappoint! I was hooked after my first purchase.

Great content, thank you. Today I bought Komsco St Michaels sword. It’s 2.5oz. Very beautiful piece
Very nice! I see those sell on the auctions quite a bit. They are fantastic. Definitely on my want list.
Super nice Geiger stack!
Thank you! I've been working on it for a while now.
I really like that Perth dragon. Nice pick ups.
Not my regular focus but I couldn't pass up the deal for such a cool looking item.
Hi Jay, thanks for the vlog! I got my first Geiger this past week. I probably won't catch up to your collection.

It's hip to be square.

Sweet Stacking buddy, ignore the haters, I do
Thank you, I will
I miss silver. 10 more years and I'll be back
I missed it under $10.
I thought $20-$25 an ounce was a good deal 🤣 now close to 30 makes me sad im not getting 4 ounces for $100 anymore.
