Youre getting old Tony like the rest of us..lol. I once asked a spritley, energetic old man (88) i met one day. ''What's your secret?'' he Replied ''GET AN ALLOTMENT'' and i did. You are not just taking care of your Garden you are also taking care of yourself. Keep busy my Gardening friends. Don't be a couch potato - GROW POTATOES👍😄
I'm reading Michael Caine's autobiography right now (good by the way). He asked an American pal "do you have a psychiatrist?" The pal said "yes" and Michael said "I have a garden".
Oh my this just came up on the feed, this show is enchanting¬ I love it, the beets my fave veg are amazing, luv the gadget and the dobies are adorable, thanks for sharing luv n light x
Birds eating the grass seed? Sow some more , water and cover with clear polythene until germinated and a the roots have 'got down' a bit. A neat trick for small patches in lawns.
Hi Tony, my beetroot has taken ages too. I harvested mine last Saturday and,I multi sow too and leave the dmaller ones to grow on. Great potato harvest. Lovely video update. Thanks for sharing and take care 😊
It is nice to see the harvests coming in and those beetroots look really good. I have read that beetroots grown throughtout the summer do not go woody no matter how large. Sadly, mine never get large enough to test that theory.
Enjoyed the video Tony good harvest o you put the acid on me going in and out of the greenhouses I got what you talked about on the last pottymouth ie tomatoes main stems got it but fruit means ok just harvested 200 Knightsbridge and stored will watch this video again for I thing you named that fungal on the tomato stems many thanks BA94Antrim n Ireland

Wow look at all those potatoes
Nice to see you back to the allotment, and actually harvesting, and pottering.
Thats more than I got from my purposefully planted potatoes 😂....enjoy! 🥔
We always cover newly planted grass seed with burlap, to keep damp and deter the birds 👍
Always like to see you do a good job of those windows Tony😂. Keep doing what you do and enjoy the fruits of your labour.

You ought to replant the potatoes that had been munched and see if you get another harvest.

You need to stretch your hamstrings
Could you not sow your onions in your potato pots and shop bought compost?
Thinking of doing garlic that way
