Good morning Dr. Darren Murphy, do you have to be an absolute passionate about anatomy to become a Chiropractor? Where you passionate about this topic in Chiropractic School? I love reading about health or research in general, I am a very manual person, I love to understand and search, I love to help and care about people, but I am not sure about being passionate about studying anatomy, I don't know why (to many informations, the way it is taught..etc). Did you experienced that also or was it on the contrary something you liked studying? Thank you for your time =). Have a wonderful day.
Hey @ColoradoCrew24 There's a lot more to chiropractic than just the anatomy, although that is a significant amount of the learning you do in school. It wasn't until I got to school and started taking seminars that I became obsessed and passionate about the ART of the chiropractic adjustment. There are times in school when you sit down, bear down and just learn material. There are other times when you are ecstatic about what you're learning. Do you live in Colorado? Denver? If so, perhaps we could meet up sometime and I could share with you more about it...
@@dr.darrenmurphy9154 Thank you so much for taking the time to answer me. To be honest, I did went to Chiropractic School in France, I did 2 years (survived). I love the adjusting part, I learn a lot by watching and having someone teaching, but I really struggled with the way anatomy was taught. Learning a ton of information and just spit it for the exams and then forgetting it the next day (majority of the classes are like this in School here). I prefer to learn to understand. Maybe it's different depending on the schools..etc I was good manually, feeling the tone, the spine, adjusting, understanding someone's pain, empathy..etc but I guess I wasn't feeling good when I had a hard time trying to remember all the informations for an exam and for some of my classmate they just needed to read 1 time. I quite the School, found a job, but did a "Humanitarian trip" with some Chiropractors. I helped carry the tables, giving massages to patients, taking photos of the trip, helping any way I could, and it was awesome. I could talk about Chiropractic, they showed me adjustments, they all told me I should go back to school because I would make a good Chiro. I can see myself doing it, but I wasn't sure if you had to be passionate about anatomy. I guess I lack confidence. It's like a photographer... some people know everything about the camera, the specs, the gear, the modes... and some people have an eye for moments to be captured, but they don't know everything about the tools of photography. Thank you so much for taking some time to answer me, I am just trying to find my way =). I am in France, but I did went to the University of Colorado many years ago. If I knew back then I would have come visit you. I watch a lot of your videos, with the Adjusting Ninjas, Fundation Training, Dr. Stuart Mcgill... I still enjoy learning things on my own.
@Zachary Brown I was doing two things. First is a thermal scan to see if there was any excess heat emanating from her head. Second, and @The Truth will love this...I was checking to see how open her crown chakra was. Over years of training and focused intent I've come to be able to sense, via a swirling energetic sensation on my hand, whether someone has an open chakra or not. The crown chakra is one's connection to SOURCE.
@The Truth Loosen up with the inquisition dude. You just had to shove in religion to a topic on spiritual entities. No one cares about religion in regards to chiropractic discourse.
@The Truth No one cares mate. Either be constructive about the content or the video or don't. Spirituality and religion stand apart. Regardless, the whole purpose of the video has nothing to do with religion. So keep it to yourself.
@FAL G I was sharing a special moment with her. She has been going through some very difficult things and I felt the need to open the space to channel a message for her. It was exactly what she needed to hear.
Thank you for seeing the girl at 24:55 and for taking the time to tell her whatever you had to tell her. You are a good man and a true lightworker.
have you ever had back neck pain?
Me? Sometimes, but its more an annoyance than pain. And im guessing a lot of it comes from lack of exercise 🙈

@The Truth why did you ask if you know everything already?
@The Truth as always, there will be that one theist who has to make a mockery of simple things.

It’s kind of creepy when all these patients are lined up on tables like this. Is this how he does it everyday in his practice?
Lets do a trade i give you one of the best raiki session you ever had and you adjust my body.
have you ever had back neck pain?
I don’t see anything different or unique here and I’ve been seeing chiropractors for 25 years.
Lmao. I've never seen a chiropractor have to get his crotch that close to your face to adjust your neck.
Yo what's up with all this exaggerated stances and theatrics and waving your hand over the body I mean this is ridiculous
