Car jackings happen everyday in Minneapolis and done by 12 year-olds.
@@MyDearestKafka That is you thinking from the perspective of the person that you are. There are many human beings who are basically animals, and people who would physically harm another person to steal something from them are no different from animals. Just my opinion. The Earth has way too many people already, why would it be acceptable for humans who decide to walk around hurting other people for no reason other than greed and selfishness? I'm actually asking you that last question. And lastly, why would that be acceptable for those people to continue walking the Earth when that is how they treat other people?

Audi really hit the jackpot with Jason Statham and this movie. Jason just makes every piece of equipment he wears 100 times cooler
His watch will set you back about $4 - 6k.
Him and Daniel Craig earned their stripes in agent movies. I’m surprised they never collaborated. Hopefully they’ll do it in the near future
The attention to detail in this is great, he didn’t even want the audience to see his code to start the car. Bravo!

In real life, a professional like him will never leave to chance by ignoring an untrained panicking girl holding a gun at point blank range - as those type of people / teenagers are the most dangerous. He would taken out the girl with the gun first then deal with the rest holding melee weapons.
A professional wouldn't have put the window down in the first place
a professional what lol? its not like guys like him are waiting around every corner in real life
This is also a movie in which he dislodges a bomb stuck to the underside of his car by doing a cork screw jump so he can snag the bomb on a crane hook while inverted.
The entire series isn't really big on realism. It might as well be part of The Matrix universe.
You're absolutely right. His very first move should've been to snatch the gun and tell her to keep that f-ing thing out his face. He would have respect for weapons too, including where they're pointed, regardless of whether she had the balls to pull the trigger.

1:57 she's lucky that gun didn't shoot someone when she threw it down, the Vektor CP1 was recalled because of an internal safety defect that meant it could fire if dropped... most recalled pistols in South Africa were fixed and returned to their owners but in the US they were just refunded $500, so it's actually a very rare gun in the states. They get over it since they bottom feeders but the girl won't work with them again since she saw how stupid they are.

This is how I feel every time I play Skyrim and some idiot sends out a whole mercenary squad to teach me a lesson about accidentally stealing a sweet roll.
1:32 I love this. First, Frank catches the knife before it can scratch the Audi, then he turns it on the thug and touches it to both his jugulars, one of which he taps twice. As he looks into the thug's eyes, in this moment he is subtly telling 'I could have killed you right here. The only reason you're alive is because I'm letting you live.'
Finally he caps it off with a solid knockout punch, neutralizing the threat.
I thought the same thing but Play that part at 0.25 speed and see what really happened. Had to be CGI.

It is the same gun. Lighting made it looked different.
2005 was truly a different time. A scene like this will probably never be made again, it's pretty cheesy and unrealistic, only put in to be a wm power fantasy basically and show Jason Statham in his prime, zero story relevance... and that's why we like it lol. Knowing all that and still liking it, i think mainly because it's like a nostalgic look at something that no longer exists.
Sometimes I think of putting myself in these scenarios. Then reality just slaps me awake. Statham rules. I don't think I've ever seen thugs THAT excited to get inside of a car. They claimed an early victory just to get smacked down. No words for that girl though.

I gave them my Tesla key card but they didn't seem to know how to really use it. Tesla cars were still relatively new to 🇹🇼 Taiwan at this time so many car theives didn't seem to understand just how it worked.
When they asked why it wasn't starting, I told them it was having computer issues, the car wasn't working properly and that I was actually waiting for a tow truck to come pick it up so they just left.
