Love it! I've been working on trying to make my own bath bomb molds for custom product but now this opens up a whole new set of fun in my soapy kitchen. Thanks so much Caroline! :)Jen
Very nice SOAP MOLD project =) It use to be on hard molds to use a 7 1/2 degree wall slope to ease produce extrication from the mold =) The nice thing now is the flexible material used in the mold from the 3d printer stock filament =) Thank you for doing this Caroline .... something practical uses for friends and family speciality occasions =)
OMG thank You...I have been asking how to make a mold..and it's been so complicated by mansplaining...Thank You for explaining it sooooo much more understandable way...I cannot thank you enough!
@@Caroline LOL After your video I spent the whole night learning how to do this.. I can't thank you enough! You are a fantastic teacher and very creative thinking I appreciate you
What I like about the assembly design is the bottom part can be swapped out with other designs easily. It's actually a great idea.
Thank you so much for this great video - and free resources!
i thought the soap mold should be made with food safe filament? i can't find any food safe flexible filament. What do you recommend?

I have a 3D printer... Why did I not think about this 😂😅
Sick tutorial Caroline!

Where do you get the flexible filament and can it be used with cold process?
So it takes 4 hours to 3D Print the mold that’s the fastest time frame?
dear over-thinkers: in this video, Caroline drops #GEMS - listen with patience there are nuggets (thank you very much!)
What was the measurement to raise the letters above the base? And how did you do that it went so fast I couldn't catch it. Thank you
All you have to do was get some information on how mould making works and a hard 3 d print with eject holes would have worked .
What are the flexible material?
FEX?
I was doing the same thing and found the dye used in the filament would come off on the soap when it was removed.
Nice Job Caroline, what was the weight of the soap when it was finished
Thank you lady! :)

No mansplaining here!

It would be easier to release the soap if you used a mould release spray.
You can also mirror the initials rather than flip. 😉👍
Should have used silicone to make the mold instead of plastic.
Hard to find 3D printers that can print in silicone. Though I have found out that flexible PLA is now a thing (also biodegradable).
Other than "flexible" what exact filament did you use? Great video! Thank you
