- *BEFORE commenting about carnotaurus hunting insects:
I am an avid dinosaur enthusiast like some of you out there, and that makes me well aware that dinosaurs may have not hunted insects for food. Everything is set for pure sake of entertainment, so just put aside all the scientific details, and enjoy!
Winner of UCLA Festival of Animation 2012 Best in Show Award
Snaggletooth the carnotaurus finds himself in a tough situation when he realizes his own body is his worst enemy. Made at UCLA Animation Workshop in 2012.

The Carnotaurus was first discovered in 1984 in Argentina. It lived in the Cretaceous Period 72-69.9 Million Years Ago.
They probably used the Carnotaurus as a villain in Dinosaur, because the T.Rex is already popular enough, and wanted to show an entirely different carnivore.

Carnotaurus may not have relied on insects for survival but quite a few others indeed did just that, for instance; Compsognathus
For a layman it's just a serious dinosaur fact from a dude who knows dino sh*t. For a dino nerd like me tho, what you said is lowkey hilarious. It's like saying "while crocodiles don't usually feed on insects, some other reptiles, such as geckos do."
@@hunormagyar1843 Sooo, Now I'm the bad guy just for noting something like, that despite th' comedic intent of this video, how A 8 meter long Carnivore seems to be wasting its energy on a Dragonfly when it could easily be looking fer a more or less fresh Carcass or smaller Saurian (since its Jaws weren't on the same strenght level like those of fellow Carnivores such as Mapusaurus)?
@@anomalotheriataurus8806 Umm no I wasn't calling you the layman, I just said, for a layman it'd be doctor's handwriting what you said about those two species and they'd just keep on scrolling for "simpler" comments, yet I find it funny. actually all dinosaurs gotta sleep, and they don't sleep standing up, so carnotaurus could just sit and use muscles to get up, carnotaurus are stronger than you think

Why can't people just accept the inaccuracies in these movies and video games and other dinosaur media and just enjoy them for what they are?

Carnotaurus has some of the largest Iblio Tibualus Muscle which helps to pull the Tubialus Thrusting the Carnotaurus upward, being part of the Albeliosauradae their Shin bone is probably lined with over 5 different Iblio Muscles Because of its proportionally minutiae Arms these Muscles have to be greatly enlarged to counter Weak forelimbs.

I think they're babies to be honest, based on the sizes thereof, as a baby Carnotaurus would hunt insects, and yes, I'm with you.. but you do make an excellent point about them having real trouble getting up.
Several times in this I'm thinking he's thinking "Oh, no, not again!" with the inability to get up from a laying down position- this's quite a story and really a very good one too, as well as quite something... you did a wonderful job with Snaggletooth's adventures in this workshop, honestly, this's one of my absolute favorites!
Also, if he's a baby, it'd make sense as far as his body malfunctions about getting up again, so I'm with you there... no objections whatsoever come to think of it.
