Now, that was a great video. Congrats on catching some very nice bass. Loved the whole setup. Very interesting. You are a very good and knowledgeable fisher lady. You fished areas a lot of folks wouldn't give a 2nd glance, which proves you knew what you were doing. Way to go....
I love the way you talked your way through your challenges. Correctly breaking down a body of water is where it's at. Good luck at Nationals. You got this.
You're ridiculous, I told you your a natural at this stuff, that's the best tournament (informative) recap I've ever watched. Trust me, anyone watching this has learned something! You killed it, figuring them out is always the game, execution gets the best of us at the worst times, great job!
So, I am prepping for a tournament that’s open to many lakes, including Chickamagua on March 20. I spent all last night studying Google Maps and Navionics, and I was so amazed at what I found in Sale Creek. First of all, not very big ramps, so they probably don’t get hit as hard, especially towards the back. And I’m thinking by March 20, pre-spawn bite should be peak, and lots of bass should be moved towards the back. Seeing this video two years later, knowing it was from February gives me more confidence. Because those Bass you found were towards the beginning of the main creek, and by the time I’m fishing there, that group should have probably moved back more. Plus, it just seemed, from your trip, that there was more fish in that area.
Great video, great coverage, great information. Informative and educational. Well done. As your success continues I hope you inspire others, men and especially women, to enter kayak fishing.
Nice recap Kristine. What a huge obstacle to overcome with that water level rising that quickly. I'll be rooting for you in the big tourney next month!
What can I say ... again another amazing video from one of the best in the game. Keep up the great work and I can’t wait to see you and AJ at the HBO on Kentucky Lake. Best of luck in Shreveport!!!!!
I’m learning SO MUCH from you! Thanks a million for sharing your thought processes as you pick apart new lakes. You deserve huge success and I’m confident this year will hold magic for you! 🧚🏻♀️ 🌟 🎣 🍀
Ive met you a few times fishing around Omaha lakes. I wish you good luck with your youtube channel. I have not met many fisherman with your level of dedication to fishing. Hope it pays off for you
After being a '' bass head '' for over 60 yrs. I'm convinced that more than anything else successful fishing is a talent, no different than art, music, writing, speaking, etc. -- and this woman definitely has her share.
Google earth is a great tool..I use it on off days to find new spots. Did alot of road trips just to see if it's actually possible to fish. I found some spots that will deffinately be filmed. Only way there is with a kayak.....should be interesting. Your tips are great. Will try em.
really great video you caught some really nice fish sorry you didn't get them again during the tournament but you learned a lot I bet and you will do better at the next one I bet! keep it up! my year is just getting started as well so will see how I do first year fishing kayak tournaments for me.
Let me tell you we got so much rain down here it was crazy. I didn’t think it was ever going to quit raining. I’m pretty sure we haven’t had this much rain over the past year ever recorded. Great video 👍🏻
Kristine Fischer it’s been a mess here for sure. The landslides the sinkholes all during that rain. Thankfully we’ve had 3 days of sunshine 🤞🏻 it stays that way for a while
Another great video. One thing you may want to consider during the cold fishing months is a womens 2mill or 2/3 mill surfing wetsuit. Surfing wetsuit will not constrict your shoulders or arms and all you would have to throw on is a pair of Jean's and hoodie. Tight lines
Nice job overall. I particularly liked your map shots breaking down the water you planned to target. I'm sure you noticed, but your audio levels varied a lot. It would be nice to have more tournament day footage, but I understand you want to focus on the actual fishing. I subscribed and will keep watching. Good luck with your season!
Thank you! In the big national events I fish anywhere from 100-200 typically. Some smaller events 50-75. Grassroots trails can be anywhere from 15 competitors on depends on where. The kbf national championship will have 480 some
Watching this again. I'm headed to G Ville in less than a month. I'm gonna jump aboard the Google earth train and use it to help me eliminate places, due to only having 4-5 days of prefishing, before the National Championship. See ya there.
Great video! Enjoy it. Keep grinding. Could you due a video on you setting up your pa before a tournement. How many rods and tackle. Good luck on your next tournament
Kristine Fischer if you're interested on trying some new places, I could tell you of a few places to try around my neck of the woods. have 5 lakes within 30 minute drive of my place
This was a great video. I would recommend filming during the tournament without even worrying about the camera and then go back and voice over what you were doing or thinking. Don’t worry about the teaching while fishing.
Watching this almost 2 years later. Love the map breakdown at the beginning. Definitely makes these larger bodies of water easier to manage
Thanks!
Really enjoying you videos, the way you describe breaking down bodies of water is great!
Trying to teach, glad you found it interesting!!
Hi Kristine, First time watching one of your vids. Really enjoy your tournament break down. Very informative. God bless and tight lines!
Thank you so much! God bless !!

I appreciate that, always learning 🙌
Thank you for letting us into that head and see how you approach fishing some really adverse conditions. Great sleuthing!

Haha thanks Adam, I appreciate that feedback. Hope to see you at the next one
Love the videos that you have been pumping out, lots of knowledge that has been very useful to me and others I’m sure.

Super helpful info on how to break down a body of water and establish a pattern ... 😬👍🏼👍🏼
Awesome seeing your recap and seeing everyones struggles. It helps trying to figure where i went wrong.
Oh man we all went wrong with the exception of a few! Thanks for watching! I’ll have another one out soon
What a great recap!! Keep up the good work. Love your videos!!
Thank you!! Hoping to expand on these

Thank ya sir! See you soon!!
Wish I was was still coming to Shreveport 😥
Excellent recap. Good luck at the NC.
Thank you!! It’s a wild world down here in LA!
Kristine Fischer I bet. Side question. , if someone was making the switch over to Hobie, particularly, Pro Angler. Why the PA 14 over the PA 12?
“When everything go smooth, then horribly wrong.” True to life.
I’m learning SO MUCH from you! Thanks a million for sharing your thought processes as you pick apart new lakes.
You deserve huge success and I’m confident this year will hold magic for you! 🧚🏻♀️ 🌟 🎣 🍀
That’s great to hear that! Thank you!!! You too ❤️
Kristine Fischer hey if you ever make it up to the NYC/suburbs way, drop me a line! Happy to show you around our waters 😀
Would love that
Starting to do my research for BASS. your video gave alot of info Thanks K.F.
Ive met you a few times fishing around Omaha lakes. I wish you good luck with your youtube channel. I have not met many fisherman with your level of dedication to fishing. Hope it pays off for you

Great meeting you Aaron! See you in March!

damn, that's a hell of a kayak! Nice catch and nice video!
Thank you! It’s my favorite fishing platform!
Great job with the map visual. I'm coming to lake Chickamauga for a big B.A.S.S. event in May good stuff
Awesome, thanks for the feedback. I love chic- May will be a killer time! good luck to you!

@@kristinefischer2289 thanks to you as well!
During flooding, fish look for different food sources and it is good to try off the wall baits. Like maybe a small mouse or big lizard.
Let me tell you we got so much rain down here it was crazy. I didn’t think it was ever going to quit raining. I’m pretty sure we haven’t had this much rain over the past year ever recorded. Great video 👍🏻
I couldn’t believe it... I was fishing a waterfall and on day two you couldn’t even see where the waterfall was.
Kristine Fischer it’s been a mess here for sure. The landslides the sinkholes all during that rain. Thankfully we’ve had 3 days of sunshine 🤞🏻 it stays that way for a while
I hope so also!
Nice bass, since i just got my first kayak I'm going to look into some kayak tournaments this year
Awesome!!! Hope to see you at some! They are addictive - but you won’t find a better community
@@kristinefischer2289 that would be amazing ty and good luck on any upcoming tournaments
Awesome video keep them cameras rolling
Thank you!
Really enjoyed is video nice Bass :)
Thank ya!

Holy f%** great job and great video!
Haha thank you!!
do they allow you to use a trailer hook? I use them and it helps a bunch on short bites. Great video Kristine!
Yes they do, and honestly, wish I would have. Thank you
Awesome break down video! Great to see the open water. How many people enter these types of tournaments?
Thank you! In the big national events I fish anywhere from 100-200 typically. Some smaller events 50-75. Grassroots trails can be anywhere from 15 competitors on depends on where. The kbf national championship will have 480 some
Very informative and entertaining! Keep up the good work! I'm sure we will be in the same tournament this year. Have fun out there. 🙂
I’ll be all over the country so I bet we cross paths :) thank you!! Good luck to you
Subscribed! Good video.

is that the medium hvy glass or hvy glass rod? I'm thinking about purchasing the 7' 2" hvy glass for my chatterbait rod.
I have both- the 7’2 H is the rod I use for chatterbaits- that MH is AWESOME for lipless cranks and medium cranks
Great video! Enjoy it. Keep grinding. Could you due a video on you setting up your pa before a tournement. How many rods and tackle. Good luck on your next tournament
You bet dickie. That’ll be my next one!
@@kristinefischer2289 good luck on your national and thank you
We should meet up sometime and do some fishing! I only live about an hour from Kentucky lake dam!
Congrats on your recent win on Santee! I’ll be fishing several big tournaments on Kentucky lake this year.
do you ever get to Kansas? I was telling Josh that there are a few good lakes around where I live that would work pretty well with his kayak
I fish KS often. I’ve done a few big tournaments in south eastern KS, and have fished around the NE/KS line
Kristine Fischer if you're interested on trying some new places, I could tell you of a few places to try around my neck of the woods. have 5 lakes within 30 minute drive of my place
Nice fish
Thank ya!
This was a great video. I would recommend filming during the tournament without even worrying about the camera and then go back and voice over what you were doing or thinking. Don’t worry about the teaching while fishing.
That’s an excellent point. I thought about that and that may be what I do during the tournament
you should check with Greg Blanchard on how he gets his video done on his tournaments he has it set up really well.
Great thought, I will!
What matt is that on the PA?
Shawn Barham SC wake seadek
St Croix. Best rods, there's not a fish or situation to catch said fish where they don't have ya covered
llamov is there a st. Croix rod that is good for Texas rig/jigs from 1/2oz and smaller? I prefer MH and 7’....
