Measurement lines and already having yetis for cold/hot stuff is what pushed me away from this bottle. I also don’t like the ball rattling around so i opted with the helimix. No ball, plastic, can see measurement lines. Only thing i have left after finishing my protein drink is the little thin mint cookies they put in my powder. Other than that its clean clean. Absolutely love it and it also looks cool
The plastic agitator will smell over time. You have to buy new agitator eventually. They should make everything inside stainless. Make a stainless steel agitator. For this reason Bolde bottle is better.

You have to use a bottle brush. Not a difficult item to find in local stores. For the crevices in the lid I use a toothbrush or the edge of a paper towel rolled up.
If you've let the top sit after mixing for a while. Like if you use it at work get busy and don't clean it for like 4-5 hours... is it hard to clean? It looks like some crevaces there. and some of the reviews talk about that.
I found it easy to clean. Dish soap with water using a bottle brush will clean the inside. A paper towel with soapy water will do the lid and agitator. The bottle brush can be had inexpensively at any hardware or supermarket. A straw brush might do the trick for the crevices but the paper towel worked fine for me. Stainless steel is the way to go if you don’t want to have to deal with the stink.
After putting some miles on this thing, I will say this bottle is great for when I use milk as my base. No more slugging lukewarm milk mixes after a big gym session. Still going strong 2 years in.

@@gammondog OK ...too much work for me; I ended up choosing the ShakeSphere. I can clean it in 5 seconds. For my needs it's the perfect shaker.

This item may work as a powder shaker however as a cold drink bottle it doesn't work at all.
