tough to watch if you are a Resmondo fan. Where was Reyna? Congrats to Competitive Edge. They had a great run. How different would that game have been if Jason Branch did not hustle and back up the throw to first? Mooch is a fun guy in the booth.
This was by far the worst world series I've ever seen. The balls were crap. You build your major team with guys who can hit the long ball. You take that away it let's AA teams like competitive edge have an advantage with their base hitters. Granted competitive edge has some power but they aren't Resmondo. You can take a team of dinkers out there and win with those balls. Last year's world series was SOOO fun to watch when a 10 run lead going into the bottom of the 7th wasn't safe. This year if you were up 1 run you had a good chance. When Harvey squares up 3 balls and not one leaves something is wrong. Do better USSSA!!! When they found out the balls were "misstamped," they should have stopped all games and put actual stadium balls in. Speaking of which, how do you not tests the balls prior for the biggest tourney of the year?? Such a disappointment.

I have a similar comment on another video this series. Boys were having to over swing in every game. Sad to see. Balls ruined everything.
Hopefully USSSA will learn from their mistakes this season and have better Worlds next Year !
