You need your strongest high-power long range weapon and to go into this level with full health - just focus on killing the shadow demons first and worry about filling the chalice later. You can go back into older easier levels, like The Graveyard, and do a run through to gather coin to continually make sure you have full ammo and fill your health. The Graveyard has two health fountains to fill all your bottles. keep to the middle of the platform and stop firing when it tips, so you can jump back into the middle. It's actually quite easy if you just chill out! It was hard 20 years ago with no analog controls!
I found the spear to be very effective. Take your time and charge it to full power before you throw while focusing on staying on the platform when it tilts. I only had to use one vial to refill my health and didn't fall off once. By the time I ran out of spear ammo I only needed to shoot a few arrows before the boss fight was over. Just keep your cool and don't jump around like a madman when the platform starts to tilt and this fight won't be all that bad.

Dont be scared about the bosses. Stay in the center ALL THE TIME with gold shield defending all the time dont release it. This shield is a beast. For the weapon get 30 spears. Dont worry about falling rocks. Stay in the middle with shield all the time. You will beat them in 15...20 seconds if you aim properly and you wont fall either by staying in the middle. The hard part of the level are the shadow demons only.
I fond the enchanted Broadsword to be very effective against the Shadow Demons here, but only because I haven't had the chance to score the Magic Sword.
There’s a recommenced order, scare crow, then the king pumpkin, then the silent village, then the maze and then the castle and then the enchanted forest.

Follow my steps if you don't wanna go insane, I never played this game in my life and I did this at 2nd try: - You must have FULL life when doing this. - Ignore all the enemies during the level rush to the final boss as soon as you can. - USE THE MOTHERF****** SPEAR. - Always charge it to max before throwing and please if you see that the platform will move STOP CHARGING or you will fall I guarantee you that, I fell three times, lost three entire lives I was livid. - Stay in the middle of the platform for f*** sake! I know they will throw you flaming attacks but it's better to get hit in the face with that a couple of times than falling to your death trying to avoid them all. YOU will get hit, don't panic (I advise you to have at least 5 life bottles of life at this time obviously). - Be QUICK throwing the spears, this is obviously very important, the more you take damage from their attacks the worse it gets. TCHARANNNNNN! You did it!! Congratulations man! :D
But why do I o ly have 3 vials and this person got 5? What am i doing wrong lmao i have like 8 chalice already so I'm confused. I almost had the boss dead but I only have like 75% health left with no vials
In Dan's Cypt as soon as you unlock the club or hammer there's a secret wall you can smash down which has an extra Vial Potion and also as Grigo mentioned there is also one in scarecrow fields that gives an extra Vial Potion, for the one in scarecrow fields look up the chalice completion for it as it'll help you find the potion as it's right next to the chalice you collect :) < too hard to explain that one on a replied comment

Welp, they clipped the nuts straight offa this song. I haven't heard the majority of the remade OST but I'm very, very disappointed with this one. Also, with the clipping plane set so far out, it doesn't seem like an enchanted wood anymore. It just seems like...the woods.

That boss fight on the platform was intense. It was pretty satisfying when I finished it
The beginning of this level theme sounds alot like an Evanescence song called Lies. That haunting and eerie intro
One of my favorite games from ps1.fighting the shadow demons was more challenging but fun at the same time.

Very good technique with the fire arrows. If anyone is having difficulty, try this technique. I surprisingly didn’t even lose one vial of health.
Finished the boss fight with only 1 health left!!! My hands were sweaty, with no checkpoints it's a big level to start over!

You have to get the shadow artefact from the Sleeping Village which you can only get to by beating the Scarecrow Fields.

The shadowy artifact is in the level "the sleeping village" it's near the end of the level in the house you jump in through the chimney

The spear kills the demons really easily! I used 26 of them to kill them off! So aim good and watch out when the floor tilts down
