Now that Trump is gone let these two lead the way on how we respectively dialogue in our democratic society. We need good examples of love truth and justice. In a Christ like way

These two men are mature lovers of wisdom proper. Neither is in the philosophy department.

My daughter was one of Dr George’s students and she adored him.

Loved watching this. Margaret was perfect here, so often is, as interviewer and intellect. Im big fan of Dr. West, was not familiar with Dr. George till now. My upshot... West is in the Christ Buddha ways, and in that place is very gentle with his friend. George still stuck in the old paradigm, but somehow has reached Christ heights of openness and love. This is enough for West to enter and honor. I know West learns from George, but is at same time markedly more the mentor.

Soft hearted Cornel lets George get away with murder.

No, he doesn't. The two have agreed to be civil to one another and to work together across honest disagreements to teach their students to practice Socratic questioning. I would like to see this happen everywhere, especially where it is feared.

Love Cornel to death but this is lame, and low effort. So many points he could and should have made or countered. I am fully on board with recognizing the humanity in all people but that doesn't mean letting inhumanity slide. Can't win them all I guess.

Does this refer to George's opposition to employment guarantees to LGBTQI+ people? I'm unaware of this particular debate within the States. What is the supposed assault on religious beliefs that was being talked about here? Can you explain the dynamics?

Dr West record speaks for itself. An interview should not waiver you.
