    Out of everything I’ve done, enduro was by far the hardest. There were times I sat on a sloppy hillside, 40* and raining sideways and asked myself why. But even after getting banged up a few times and winning a trophy a couple times, I always went back to riding, it’s in the blood.

    Well, im a new rider with just over 10 hours now and i can certainly confirm that many times when trying something that challenges my skill level I often think "I don't know how much I like this" and then every try is an extreme adrenaline dump. And then, if and when I make it to the top, its the most satisfying experience. I can just bask in that high! of course until the next one, which is typically just up the road....lolol....I have had very very good riders see me and intervene, have me tag along with them and take good easy routes with lots of guidance. Great bunch of people, most of the time.

    I have followed you for a long time, I know you are a good pilot and a good person but I also love how you tell things ... your honesty and feeling about things motivates me a lot, thank you very much and hugs from Spain.

    Elbow pads are a must. As is a helmet, eye protection, gloves, knee pads and good boots. And bring water.

    Being that I was a 5× deployed military man and after US service was a Professional Commercial "Deep Sea" Diver, I happily wear all gear!!! I do the same for mountain biking - I have to since I've had 4 knee surgeries, a few Traumatic Brain injuries, and now a bunch of other stuff...but I didn't give up my life entirely with these disabilities and diagnoses I've accumulated!!! I still ride off-road motorcycles, just take it a little easy due to the repercussions of a fall in these boulder filled forests! -I live right at the border of Washington State USA and Canada in the Great Pacific Northwest in the Cascade Mountains...
    Man, I love all your videos! I hope and pray to see lots of success and large contracts from factory teams in the future!!! May you stay unharmed throughout all rides and competition!!! 💪

    Thanks for sharing your time and videos with us. I know I sure do miss racing enduros. I raced enduros for 12 years in the Black Jack Enduro Circuit (BJEC) in Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri and Texas. From 1993 to 2004 were some of the best racing of life. It’s so much better than motocross (I raced 24 years 80 to 93. In 93 I was 25 and was racing MX, Cross Countries, Enduros and vintage trails. If I’ve known about enduros when I was young I’ve never raced MX. Thanks for all your advice and and wisdom in this awesome spot.

    Bounce the knee braces & neck braces, they will just get you hurt wear a good set of knee pads and elbow pads. Proper boots are a must Iv actually had a stick go through my boot above where a work boot would be so there very important, from what Iv seen chest protectors aren’t needed unless you got some one ripping infront of you. Have fun and only push your self & friends a little bit. If your much faster than the group you’re riding with remember that when you get on the pipe. You might have someone behind you trying to keep up that can’t and instead of them having a beer with you at the end of the ride your riding their bike out while their in the bus on their way to the hospital.

    Do you recomand a ktm 150 for a beginner that is like 16? Im asking because im not sure what bike I should ride. Good video btw😁

    • @HardEnduroLlewellyn
      @HardEnduroLlewellyn 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Depends on your height & weight but I’d go with a Ktm250. They’re mild enough but slightly easier to ride IMO.

      Of course, also if you have a chance to find EXC200 it is even better. It is a little less aggressive and light and manageable
