Fun fact: The Battle had a great effect on British morale. They had never defeated the Germans in a major battle. After their victory, they had renewed self-belief and became increasingly confident of victory. As Churchill noted:
“Before Alamein, we never had a victory. After Alamein, we never had a defeat.”

I think this is video is about the first battle of El Alamein but what you say is true.
@@aaliyahdelrosario4497 Tobruk was a morale boost yes, but it was more a successful defense rather than an active victory. The garrison there prevented Axis troops from entering, but it took 8 months to finally break out.
Besides, it took barely another year for the Axis to sweep through Tobruk again, this time actually taking it. And between these two events many more morale hurting incidents had happened elsewhere (Singapore, Hong Kong, Burma, sinking of Prince of Wales and Repulse) so El Alamein was desperately needed.

Imagine how hard it is to picture every frame
You don't see the story board but there would be a general outline and time frame that the animation is bassed off. Some will use real footage from movies and base there story line off of that.
I honestly have nothing to say other than the fact, that I am incredibly astonished at the amount of work you have put into this animation and your many other animations. I am completely dumbfounded at your talent and I have an enormous respect for you and what you do. You really put in a lot of effort in order to make it as great as it could possibly be. My 7-year old son loves these Lego animated movies and is dying to start making his own. Obviously, he has no idea how work and time-consuming making such movies is.
While I know a thing or two about taking photographs, I never did any serious movies or animations and I worry I lack the necessary skills/software to help him. But your movie has already showed me certain tricks I was not aware of. Thx!

i was wondering the same thing! my 7 year old is OBSESSED. i can’t find lego military stuff so i’m assuming it’s a different brick brand or he created them mixing bricks. 😮 it’s amazing for sure.

This really gives people some insight as to how much effort goes into these animations and how it makes the final product look, it's a bit of a shame that lot's of content like this tends to get ignored by the TH-cam algorithm

Imagine taking all those pictures only to realize that annoying fly from Saturday screwed up 7 of your frames…
Onion skin on stop motion software allows the user to make a new frame while keeping the previous frame on screan so to add new frames in a specific location is not that hard.
That method of making the entire tank platoon move as one was INGENIOUS!!!
I have seen it done before years ago but it's done well here.
