In baptism we PARTICIPATE in Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection - according to scripture. The EFFECT of baptism is to free us from the power of sin. This is what it means that the old body (sinful flesh) is circumcised. This is WHY baptism SAVES you. Since you are now free from the power of sin you have the power to live a life free from sin and that results in a clear conscience as it says in 1 Peter 3!!! All you need then is to repent of occasional mistakes - just don't get enslaved by sin again!
Most don't understand salvation. Salvation is freedom from sin. If you're a slave to sin you need salvation. God is creating a new heaven and earth with perfect people this is why you need to be saved from sin - you're not getting in there if you're still a sinner.

HOWEVER, the Scriptures show the LAVER was to WASH ONLY the HANDS AND FEET of the priests (Exodus 30:17-21); this OT washing for the priests - a small minority of God’s covenant people - clearly is NOT being BURIED with Christ in water baptism! The fact of the matter is that i could make even more of a case than this why your correct. But I can go on with a strong case why your wrong. The facts are that we see what were looking for. It could be that what is happening is people who don’t show up after they register are not Christians but like what happened at President Trumps rally’s, they registered and didn’t show up to make you look bad and keep people who really want to come, from being able to come.
What if the sick believer does not belong to a church that has any true believing elders? Like Baptist churches that just put people on prayer lists. Do you believe prayer lists are scriptural, is there a scripture to back up putting people on prayer lists?
For the most regular circumstance for believers who are sick in churches that don't understand or do divine healing incorrectly, the believers go on being sick. Baptist churches are too busy with their own home church law keeping list. It's a great travesty that has been going on for way too long. Brother Curry Blake brings truth and only truth while the majority of church leaders all over the country are more concerned about issues that affect themselves. Curry Blake is truly on course to change the world for God. It's too bad that other churches don't give him an invite to speak at their location. But way too many church leaders wouldn't know what to do if he spoke truth to their congregation.
