Yamaha NS-10M VS. Kenwood LS-11-ES Same Amp/Preamp/source/wiring

The Yamaha’s have a Finesse about them that the Kenwood doesn’t have. Better soundstage and smoother highs, but the Kenwoods have better base and midrange. Overall, the yamahas are more balanced and put out what goes into them, whereas the Kenwood is a fun Speaker to listen to without being Fatiguing.
The Kenwood costed twice as much a decade after the original Yamaha NS-10M’s where released.
This simple A/B makes me totally understand why they were used in recording studios as standard for mixing records for a long time.
Kenwoods are fantastic if you can get a pair for a good price, you will enjoy listening to them.
