As one who will likely never play such a wonderful instrument, thanks for demonstrating the range of this guitar.

Practically the only review I've found that throws overdrive at these pickups. Thank you!

FABULOUS!!! DEEP beautiful sound on those low notes! Wonderful melodic chords as well.

Oh man, I'm gonna need to save up. What a killer guitar.

This clearly sounds like a winner. The only problem is that buying one seems enormously complicated (raising funds, finding a dealer, lengthy wait time etc).

The price point of these guitars is certainly high for most players but Collings always delivers quality and consistency in abundance! Right now, the lead time issue is a large factor for just about every manufacturer and smaller places like Collings are still working hard to keep up with unprecedented demand at a time when supply chains are totally messed up and the prices for parts and materials are skyrocketing. We have a long line of people interested in this model and we wish there were more of them! This is a case where the instrument is worth the wait.

I ordered mine the day of release and just got it 2 days ago! Well worth the wait and money for.

Was that the Ocarina of Time intro around 8:00?! Amazing

Given my status as a giant nerd, I wish I could say that! It was intended as a slowed down variation on Pat Metheny's "Slip Away" but I can hear where you'd pick up the similarities haha

    What is the Amp?

This was through the previous incarnation of the Carr Sportsman! Carr still make this amp but with a different cabinet design.

Gretsch duo jet will do it for me, without braking the bank

Dude, 5 minutes before the first note played? Maybe the Carr Rambler would have been a better choice for ya 😁. Sorry, just jealous.
