Very good video bro. The spoken part of the vid was very engaging. Good job. If you would have put a sm57 on the cab for us to hear better the video would have been perfect.
Thanks for showing this and the settings. I have been looking for this but I have not quite got it dialed in. I prefer the clean sound that you have dialed in for intros to something heavy. I also like it for the older type rock ballad. Good video.
Interesting. Need to double check what are in my Bugera 6262 Infinium head because I'm really struggling to get a decent clean tone. I either have to roll off my guitar volume knob, or really dial back the clean gain, which directly affects my lead channel gain :(
Wait... you call that a good clean tone? When I say clean, I want clean. Not dirt, not a little broken up, and not crunch. Clean means clean. Clean is Fender Twin-type clean. Without distortion. I can hear the dirt in this clean tone after you ranted staved about how clean it is. That’s not clean. It’s “cleanER” than your distorted tones, yes. It’s STILL not clean.
I just got this amp because I kept seeing such rave reviews. I can't believe it doesn't have a dedicated clean channel. It's so odd. Metal needs clean too. I'm sort of disappointed. It's clean,...but it's a dirty clean. How do we actually clean it up? A distortion/cracking removal pedal?
@@seanathonhooper Hell yes.But you can get that in a Peavey Rock Master AND a clean tone. Same thing for some other Peavey amps, too, like the Ultra. There are others as well.
@@morsteen Put an EQ in front of the amp. Set the EQ to an aggressive V shape. It will absolutely change the way you perceive the "clean". No one seems to know about this.
I miss ya, big guy.
Is he gone?
5:55 clean channel test. Thank you for sharing this video!!

Sounds a lot like "In this River" by Black Label Society

The Clean Chn & lead Chn can be had with a LOT less Hisss. It's all in the Tubes Sovtek 12ax7LPS & Sovtek 6L6WXT+ Chn. Also 7 is 10 on these Amps.

I have the 6505+ combo 112 and I swear it’s impossible to get a clean tone
your doing it wrong,

Really? I love the cleans on mine. They sound especially good through the Air Norton/ Tone Zone pickups.
With active pickups I would say it’s close to impossible lol. If you need a pristine clean you’re better off a/b ing
You using active pickups?
Thats what i thought till i tried a non emg
This dude playing e c d on a dimbag into a 6505 haha
So basically if you hit the crunch all the sudden, the volume is going to be loud as fuck
Batman plays one of those

Well when we say distortion we mean distortion. Distortion means distortion. Distortion is Peavey 6505+ distortion

@@kevinp_25 thanks for the suggestion, but I already sold the amp and bought a boss katana mark ii.
You speak too much...
It's a pretty terrible clean channel. 😂
