    At first I thought you were explaining rnp performance and rnav precision in these circumstances, not about the hud and papi that every minor airport nowadays has some kind of them.

      Queenstown only recently got the upgraded lighting hence the video

    Rnav doesn't just use satellites like gps, for high accuracy RNP you need a combination of satellite networks and ground based beacons and also a variety of air data that is received by various sensors in aircraft and combined by flight management computers

      For laterlal precision its as accurate as 0.1 nautical miles, but due to barometric altimeter inaccuracy they have to use a higher disicion height

      @@mammadtori3964 not sure how it is possible for 0.1 nm accuracy with only SBAS, usually 2nm for transition, 1nm for app phase, .3 for final even with the combination of WAAS,SBAS, and ABAS for the LPV. Both the aerodrome and aircraft's Nav equipment require certification for LPV app.

    But why dont make a path over,above the water of the lake? Iook more easy.well, I wanna that performance to my Simulator

      Every approach to ZQN has to pass over mountains with about 5000 feet of height. Some are quite close to the airport and others (i.e. the western approach) give more time to descend for the landing. You can be assured the airlines and airport did not invest in this technology without a good reason.
