    This is on point. At the same time, we women must quit sitting around complaining and mocking our husbands. We need to stop thinking our husbands are not as strong in the Lord as we are. We need to stop thinking we sacrifice more. What do we women need to do? Love our husbands, respect our husbands, pray for our husbands, pray for God to break a mold ourselves instead of focusing on our husband’s faults. Teach our children to respect their fathers. Ask for our husband’s opinion and actually listen.
    Years ago, I started watching older Godly women who had good marriages. I went to the Bible to learn what God wants from me. I changed, I was happier and calmer plus I started seeing my husband change and become stronger in the Lord. I also tell him how proud of him and tell him what growth I’m seeing and it makes me love him even more. I also listen to his biblical advice, I found out he will be right. As a pastor, he can get really stressed. Instead of adding to the stress, I try to be his sounding board and stay positive with scripture.

      Thank you for saying this. The church seems to have forgotten to instruct women in what it means to be feminine and a wife as much as it forgot to teach men to be masculine and husbands.

    I've been single for a long time. A gentleman and a strong man is almost non-existent. Either in the church or otherwise. I'm a lady and expect to be treated as such! But, my eyes are on Jesus! Completely, heart mind and soul! My eyes are on the prize. WORSHIPPING GOD, my Saviour in paradise forever! ❤

      I’ve also been single for a terribly long time. I wholeheartedly agree either way your sentiment about men in society, both in the church and obviously, out in the world. It’s an epidemic, I’m convinced, and I can only pray that The Holy Spirit leads both you & I to the proper, Godly, and complimentary mate for us in our unique lives.
      God bless you my dear sister and I sincerely pray for God’s leading you in your life, wherever you may be. ♥️

      You are looking at the wrong kind of man, look for a man that loves God, loves God's word, loves to pray. Find that man, and you have found yourself a strong man.

      @@williamstdog9with respect, and care: Complimentarianism will make for a terrible marriage. I am not saying that your desire for a man who compliments your unique life, is what is keeping you single, although it could be. However, if you are looking for a man to compliment your life, instead looking for a biblical marriage where man is the leader of his wife, and the house (a godly man ever seeking to be more Christlike), then you will not find a ‘Man’, you will find a feminist, and ultimately you will not be happy in marriage, because this is not how God designed marriage. Maybe take some time to learn the structure and function of biblical marriage, and then consider your designed (not assigned) role in it. From that point forward, I am sure The Lord will bring the man, and your marriage will then have a foundation in Christ, to be more fulfilling and fruitful that you could have imagined. That’s just the way it is. By God’s design.

    “If men won’t lead, women will. And if women will, men won’t.” Al Mohler
    We, as women, need to act like women and stop emasculating our husbands. When I was married (BC), I was like that. The proverbs, “It’s better for a man to live on the corner of the roof than with a quarreling wife” and “a quarreling wife is like a dripping faucet” resonate with me. 😅 We are better off praying for our husbands than nagging and criticizing them. Just because women might be able to do something better doesn’t mean that we should. ❤

      @RamielLemon 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The heck?! God gave the Proverb woman wisdom in how to run her household; beyond childrearing, she did finances, business, property - and her husband is blessed! If a woman is gifted in something, and does something "better" than her man, the manliest thing to do for her is to love her, she's more precious than rubies, doing it as it benefits their family. And look, the Proverb's wife's husband is still a good man.
      People need to stop twisting Paul's teachings - he who was single by choice and doesn't know what it's like to be married with children. He dedicated his life to grow the church.

    You are so right! Tragically, this failure of biblical manhood has nothing to do with feminism or culture. It is just plain old Sin. Adam was like that: he wasn’t watchful at all & worse, joined in on Eve’s sin instead of being watchful and taking the lead to protect her from Sin, failing in his priestly duty as man.
    It is sin when 99% of men fail to lead Family Worship. Men hates or despises leadership. Men love to blame work ethics and culture or anything but sin but truly it is their own sin.
    The first and foremost thing a man could do to watch over his own sin and to lead and protect his family is, to study the Word and to teach it and to pray with his family whatever their ages, as he leads Family Worship. Ask Joel Beeke.

    Most men in churches today are not directed by the HS, but by their own desires and ambitions.

      I wholeheartedly disagree with this.
      True masculinity is telling a Christian radio host who has a long reputation of telling men that they suck that this isn't the message that should be said from the pulpit or the radio broadcast booth, knowing that this could result in getting terminated from his position.
