You don't need a lot of strength in your shoulders because the Lift or I should say the body support , wraps firmly around you as your weight is taken by the thigh supports
SomebodyIusedtoknow (Mariam Paré) The woman in the video is Sandy. She has an injury that has left her as a quadriplegic. Her experience may not be the same for you but should leave you with optimism. We do have distribution throughout the country. You will have an opportunity to try out the "Body Support ". It really is a great product for many users. FYI, it has been around for over 30 years so there is plenty of proven success. Let me know if you want more information via email on my web site. I can put you in touch with the correct people for a close up view. Thanks for your interest! Dave
I have been using the lift for close to 30 years and it does not hurt under my armpits . It did ache for a while because I pulled a muscle lifting weights improperly other than that you should be fine Sandra

hi is this product available in Canada yet? I worked with one person who was only able to get this kind of system by crossing the border. this is great for improving independence
Jill Cunnington as a general tile of thumb we like to put the potential user in Body Support as our first level of evaluation. If in MA, CY, or RI we can come to or you can come up our showroom. The best way to reach is through email of phone call.
dana cline thanks for your inquiry. There is such a wide variety of applications so I can’t answer your question directly however, in my territory we are typically seeing most systems come in between $6-10k. I hope that helps you out.

I have always thought sure hands had top of the line salespersons and ethics or I would have never done this video they have always been supportive well-mannered and price consistent.
This is not an endorsement by the company I do lift my laundry basket up and set it on my bed with the lift it's also fun to pick yourself up and go on the floor for stretching. Sandra

My level of injury is C5 C6 quadriplegic incomplete I do not have triceps my biceps are strong shoulders are strong, but I cannot use my hands Sandra
Thanks for demonstrating how the lift works. But, a serious question: how does one get under the sheets on a bed?
I have a technique of how I fold the sheets a certain way and then I flipped them right over me after I roll over it's actually not too hard!
Please send price list
What stops that someone from falling backwards ? I'm a quadriplegic and I'm afraid I would fall backwards out of this thing.
