12:19 The moment you realize those old people are dead today since this was filmed in 1977-1978 and they look to be in their mid 70’s-early 80’s meaning they were likely born somewhere between 1895-1902
Looking back it's a shame sound film cameras mostly sucked for audio but could capture a decent picture and Beta/VHS had decent sound but the picture was pretty bad. But I'll take what I can these were some great trips.

I had a VHS tape of this exact film that was part of a VHS set. It was my favorite of all the tapes in the collection. Unfortunately, I lost the entire collection. But this brings back memories
@@thomasweekley9209 There is a DVD collection with that same name available if you look around. It has all the same films on it plus some more that were not on the VHS sets.

Do you remember the name of the collection?
@@MrSpaghettiWestern19 yes. It was called “America’s Railroads: The Steam Train Legacy”.

This is awesome ❤❤❤
Imagine working super hard on this just for it to get damaged in a fire after it ran in excursion service. Too bad they can't run 2101.
This video is a little confusing to me. Wasnt 2101 prepped and painted in Readings Saucon facility?
No it was done at Huntington Shops on the C&O.
