I believe it was Mors Kochanski who said, "The More You Know, The Less You Carry."
Wow, Pathfinder struck gold in getting you to join them. Every single video is 100% education and no BS. Love it! Love that Crusader mug too. My canteen cup is one of my favorite pieces of gear, I don't think they even issue them anymore. The secret to using the very versatile poncho is to carry TWO of them! 🤣 Killer video, always.
@@OPSTuT I'd love to know the inside story of why GB2 left, I love that guy. And the whole mess with Shawn Kelly, what the hell? Dave is moving on just fine though.
@@asmith7876i believe GB² has mentioned before that it was just a character issue between him and Dave; no ill will, just didnt click. Shawn is easy, he wants to be his own boss; but that puts him in direct competition with Dave and in his shadow following the same footprint as he persues the same path. I like Shawn, how i found Dave, but Shawn's own ego gets in his way🤷♂️.
@@jeremymoses7401 There is definitely a different vibe from GB2’s style of teaching, he’s so laid back. Love it!
The high quality information your videos contain in short packages never ceases to amaze me. Thanks for continuing to demonstrate and reinforce these techniques.
If it comes to survival, this is one of the best channels on YT! Hands down, no BS...., just usefull things. Great! Best wishes from a former German soldier! 🇺🇸🤝🏻🇩🇪
It is evident that being a survival instructor is your passion…
As a loyal follower on this channel, I would love to take your class in person…
It wouldn’t surprise me to hear that you have authoring a survival book in your plans… with lots of pictures…
If you do write a book I would buy it- and want it autographed 😊
See you next Sunday-
God bless you as you help us learn these skills…
🙏🏻😇🥰
Right on Andrew, the fallkniven f1 is by far my favorite knife.
every single video is a pleasure and you can always learn something.
greetings from Germany 🤜🤛
I love the insect repellent, OUTSTANDING
My favorite survival instructor right here 💪 lead the way Ranger 🦅🇺🇲
Superior minds offer superior teaching. Thank you for a great upload.
Man I literally just watched your older 5 and 10 c’s videos and thought “I wish Andrew would make a new one of these.”
Once again, a lot of good skills presented perfectly. No nonsense and clear instructions crisply demonstrated. Andrew is the best in business.
I can’t get enough of this! The Sheppards sling and trap are awesome, thanks Andrew for taking the time out do give us another outstanding video, I learn from all of these
That trap you built was so cool never Thout of making 1 like that , thank you for your Service to the great United States of America , and for sharing your knowledge with us ! To all our brothers and sisters in arms , God bless All !
I always learn something new, precise, concise, useful and to the point.
shoutout to the beloved cat at 5:17
And you hit a quarter mil subs. Congrats.
Great skills & techniques without any nonsense. It's refreshing to see your sere skills without the gear pushing that's typical of most channels. Thanks Andrew. 🇺🇸
As kids we used bailer twine and burlap to make slings . They hurt like a Massey Ferguson .
Hello 👋 Andrew, thank you for sharing another informative video. You always do a great job. Stay safe out there. 😊
All business and no bs! Thanks Andrew.
Love that you've got the British water bottle and mug, greater capacity! US bottle and mug are great too!
Hi Andrew, greeting from Australia 🇦🇺, thank you for your time to make these.
I've been subbed for awhile now and I must say, Andrew has s passion to teach.
He wants people to be able to survive under stressful situations.
He's the real deal!
While others show you how to build a treehouse over a long period of time,
then cry and moan to his audience wondering why viewership is down.
Who do you choose?
Really good video! Lots of fresh methods on implementing basic survival skills. I really like the shepherds sling 👍👍
Thanks Andrew!
As an Appalachian farm kid we used to make slings out of baler twine . My grandfather actually taught me how . They are pretty effective if you practice and learn the release point well . Great video !!❤❤
Man, l love your vidios. Evan old stuff that I already know is exciting and new when you do it. Your amazing and I can only imagine what a face to face class would be like with all the back and forth banter that goes with real lfe in person interactions.
Forgot to say, I am a fellow Vet if that means anything! I always wanted the Brit canteen cup system but never got around to buying one and now like everything they want an arm and a leg to buy one, so I appreciate your help! Your video here motivated me again to get one.😊
I like the two stick canteen carry, not seen that method used before; my luxury carry item is also the crusader heavy lid.
The sling is pretty cool, David used the sling on Goliath. Good to know how to make.
You just taught this old Ranger a few new tricks. I don't know why I never thought of using sticks like that with a canteen cup. Of course we never had fires. Never made char cloth that way either. The yarrow was new as well.
So nice to watch videos like this and not have to listen to the constant whining about views, algorithms, and how TH-cam is screwing you and throttling your channel!!! 😭😭😭
I really liked the poncho water collecting and the 2 stick nesting cup grab tips! Thank you!
Love the weaving a shepards sling!!! Plus the disclaimer (practice to get proficient)
Thanks for this video it have alot if advise that we all need to know. We need to know how to suvive in the Jungle.
you ceased to amaze me Andrew, outstanding video I love the sling
Great video!
I will definitely be taking a kit like this on my remote off-road motorcycle trips.
Great solutions for potential real-world problems.
Well done! Thank you
That’s Zahn! You’re at the pathfinder outdoor kitchen training space. You go boy!
Great video Major, as usual. I particularly like the addition of Yarrow and what you can do with it. It would be good if you added other plants in future videos. Thanks!
Cheers major, I always makes notes from these videos. Yarrow stalks were used by the Chinese Daoists, to forecast the future( I Jing). I wanted to attend the class up in Ohio, but the tumor in my head is refusing to take a year or two off. But after 14 years, I refuse to throw in the towel. Cheers major.🤙
I love your videos, and I wish I had the opportunity to attend one of your classes. Thank you for putting out these amazing videos.
La mejor herramienta son los conocimientos adquiridos, experiencia, y con éstos cinco elementos que presentas ya tienes más que suficiente.
Menos es más!👏👏👏💪
Me encanta!!
Gracias!😃👏👏
Agradecido por tus videos.

Great video brother thank you for sharing your knowledge and expertise and for taking us on your adventures through the woods could you please do a video on the MRE spoon as a trigger for a trap

Ty
if you're in a place with no rocks, you can substitute using dried clay ammo. it also allows you to make consistent size ammo and saving time looking for the perfect rocks.
Good kit Andrew thanks for sharing YAH bless !
Your videos help them too. I’m surely not the only person to buy pathfinder gear because of your videos.
Thanks
Cool and interesting video! Thanks for the video and for sharing.
Excellent as always! As an outdoorsman, I'm very happy to learn new skills from you!
I though bro had a damn pet bobcat for a second there!! 😂😂😂😂
Another great video Major Andrew 👍🇺🇸
Glad to see the channel growing. You deserve it! Keep it up
Спасибо!
Bro, did you just whip out a bowline knot within milliseconds? 👀😱 That was super rad and simplified the whole process just like that. Man, that was the slickest I've ever seen anyone tie one! 🙌

Another good video. Keep up the awesome work
Nice!
Great job ....... Congratulations .
Andrew brother you got to do some field treatment of different types of medical situations. I.e. wound treatment for infection, poisonous bites situations, botanical treatment of injuries. Also something I'm thinking a lot about is long term really long term survival in disaster scenarios where you are going to be alone. Psychological part I think is a big one. I've been in situations where I have been so alone for such long periods of time the silence, as you know becomes deafeningly loud. Basically how to break up this silence and also find the small spark inside of hope to keep going. I know I am asking a lot on this but I think you might have ideas on these things.
The psychological part of Survival is the make or break angle. The will to thrive, not just survive.
Awesome!
Great job brother. Keep em coming!! Semper Fi
Nice knife 🔪 and great work
I liked that roll. Good stuff

When I was in the Bat I kept a wrist slingshot and a long 550 long corded one like the one you demonstrated. I was always hunting small game when in the field.A lot of rabbit snake a few birds, nutria, small pigs. We competed in the platoon who was better. Always kept carrots onions and rice.
