      What a amazing message Ps.Rick. I love the revelations you bring out of Christ and associate them with our day to day life (as though you were aware of an individual's inner discourse) But then, that's none other than the sweet Holy Spirit speaking to us through you❤

    While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.
    I don’t understand, Judas was destined to betray Jesus or not?

    • @timhall4152
      @timhall4152 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Even though "it is NOT God's will that ANY should perish," people make their own choices. God in His foreknowledge knew ahead of time what Judas would do, and it became prophetic scripture through the prophet who penned it by the Holy Spirit. God did not make, cause, or predestine Judas to betray Jesus. And although Judas' choice played a critical part of the plan of redemption (Jesus had to go to the cross, otherwise there would be no salvation story for us all), the "other" destiny of apostleship, inheritance, ruling and reigning with Jesus, was still available to him. Peter denied Christ three times, yet his mistake led him to repentance and restoration, whereas Judas allowed his own mistake to lead him to choose to give up through suicide, rather than to humbly repent and seek God's forgiveness, mercy, and grace.
