The story of one sky by Dimash was the first time I heard of him. That song is beyond description. It is something else might check it out sometime. He really has an amazing voice. Very unexpected. You jumped way ahead by watching "When I've Got You " as your second intro to Dimash. Suggest you watch "Stranger " next and then "Olympico". They will show you most of his range and breath control abilities. After that it's a crap shoot of genres as he can and has performed just about everything there is. His fans (Dears) are world wide and his concerts sell out in minutes. People fly in from as many as 60 countries to see their the best music artist, composer, producer, actor, humanitarian of our time. After you watch him for awhile you will begin to realize he is an alien (He actually sings the "Diva Dance" from the movie Sixth Element.
I agree you jumped ahead too quickly. You should go back to 2017, The Siinger, in China so u can watch his progress. He was only 22 then, and very good. If u do please get the backstories on Autumn Strong, Daybreak and especially Daididau first. You can get them on Gloria Wu's channel l so u will understand them and why he sings them, especially the last 2 which are 1) Chinese and 2) Qazaq. Hope u do a lot more Dimash, but it's a good idea to watch everything he did in the last 6yrs. BEFORE going to One Sky and his latest songs. This was from the Dimash Creative Centre Digital Show 2021. Just thought I'd let you know, this was a unique, completely private live concert that was recorded during the pandemic on Dimash's own stage setup. It was his band playing, so it wasn't a TV show that uses session musicians. Dimash had planned a concert for his fans but it got cancelled due to the pandemic, so he created the concert during lockdown and put it online. It had 19 songs and his fans paid just $10 each to watch it. Every single song from this concert was good. Many of them had superb contemporary dance routines and all of them had a wonderful digital backdrop. I'd highly recommend Golden, Kieli Meken, Samaltau and Durduraz from this concert. Also would recommend a contemporary and very different song called Ave Maria (New Wave Sochi), Olimpico (from composer Igor Krutoy's channel), Stranger (New Wave Sochi), Sinful Passion. SOS is just the tip of the iceberg for this amazing singer. Many people, including vocal coaches, professors of music, professional musicians and singers often say that he is the best in the world. No, this is Dimash’s own band they are called DQ Band. This is a solo digital concert during COVID, it lasted for a couple of hours. The Digital show was amazing on every song, all very different, 400 people worked on the show, which was broadcast live on 16th January 2021.

This was from a virtual concert he put on during the pandemic. He missed performing live concerts, so he had an online concert, and all the proceeds went to charity. He's the only person who impresses me more than dan vasc on pure ability at least (i still prefer dans style). Dimash is ridiculous in the best way, i would suggest checking out his sing "olimpico" for a totally different side, "daybreak" is another awesome one, in "unforgettable day" he does something that is well unforgettable. His new song "when I've got you" is super catchy and in english. Im by no means very knowledgeable about dimash, but from what i know he speaks 2 languages fluently (Russian and Kazakh i believe) and is learning mandarin and english, however he somehow sings in like 14 languages, classically and contemporary trained and hes my age which i dont consider old (29). You jumped way ahead by watching "When I've Got You " as your second intro to Dimash. Suggest you watch "Stranger " next and then "Olympico". They will show you most of his range and breath control abilities. After that it's a crap shoot of genres as he can and has performed just about everything there is. His fans (Dears) are world wide and his concerts sell out in minutes. People fly in from as many as 60 countries to see their the best music artist, composer, producer, actor, humanitarian of our time. After you watch him for awhile you will begin to realize he is an alien (He actually sings the "Diva Dance" from the movie Sixth Element.

I agree you jumped ahead too quickly. You should go back to 2017, The Siinger, in China so u can watch his progress. He was only 22 then, and very good. If u do please get the backstories on Autumn Strong, Daybreak and especially Daididau first. You can get them on Gloria Wu's channel l so u will understand them and why he sings them, especially the last 2 which are 1) Chinese and 2) Qazaq.
Hope u do a lot more Dimash, but it's a good idea to watch everything he did in the last 6yrs. BEFORE going to One Sky and his latest songs. Just so you can appreciate how much he has grown and matured and is even better.
This was from the Dimash Creative Centre Digital Show 2021. Just thought I'd let you know, this was a unique, completely private live concert that was recorded during the pandemic on Dimash's own stage setup. It was his band playing, so it wasn't a TV show that uses session musicians. Dimash had planned a concert for his fans but it got cancelled due to the pandemic, so he created the concert during lockdown and put it online. It had 19 songs and his fans paid just $10 each to watch it. Every single song from this concert was good. Many of them had superb contemporary dance routines and all of them had a wonderful digital backdrop. I'd highly recommend Golden, Kieli Meken, Samaltau and Durduraz from this concert. Also would recommend a contemporary and very different song called Ave Maria (New Wave Sochi), Olimpico (from composer Igor Krutoy's channel), Stranger (New Wave Sochi), Sinful Passion.
SOS is just the tip of the iceberg for this amazing singer. Many people, including vocal coaches, professors of music, professional musicians and singers often say that he is the best in the world. No, this is Dimash’s own band they are called DQ Band. This is a solo digital concert during COVID, it lasted for a couple of hours. The Digital show was amazing on every song, all very different, 400 people worked on the show, which was broadcast live on 16th January 2021.

The DQ Band is the Dimash band and of course everyone in the band is an excellent musician. Dimash holds huge sold out concerts around the world where the band usually plays with an orchestra or sometimes just the band depending on the size of the venue. This performance was for an online concert during quarantine for his millions of fans who could not see him in person for several years due to Covid. Dimash donated $500,000 to the charity ProjectCure from proceeds of this online concert in Jan 2021.

Dimash Qudaibergen (Dinmukhammed Qanatuly Qudaibergen) was born on May 24, 1994 in Aktobe, Kazakhstan. He is 1.91 m (6.3 ft) tall.
Dimash is a singer, composer, multi-instrumentalist, actor, video director, screenwriter and entrepreneur who has received the title of Honored Music Artist of Kazakhstan and many other significant awards around the world.
Dimash Qudaibergen was very fortunate to be born into musical 'royalty'. Grandfather was a professional dombra player, grandmother was a teacher and sang. His mother Svetlana Aitbayeva has a classical education (not opera singer). His father, Kanat Aitbayev, is also a singer, songwriter and producer. His parents are known throughout the country and are “Honored Music Artists of Kazakhstan”. Both have been seen on the big stages and on television in Kazakhstan for many years.

According to Kazakh tradition, Dimash grew up with his grandparents. He calls them mom and dad and for a long time thought his parents were brother and sister-in-law. They all live together in one house.
Dimash said: "Open my heart, you will find music. If you open my brain you will find music. Music is my life."
Dimash wasn't a child prodigy, but he always wanted to be a musician and grew up surrounded by music. As a young boy (2 years old) he would often sit in the audience at his parents' performances and run onto the stage when they bowed at the end, and he did the same. While other children drew cars or princesses, Dimash drew a music studio and the instruments.

In his childhood, Dimash trained in taekwondo. Dimash's role models include Lara Fabian, Pavarotti, Igor Krutoy, Andrea Bocelli, Celin Dion, Queen and most importantly Michael Jackson.
He has been making music since he was 5 years old and has a perfect pitch. He has university degrees in piano, classical/opera, contemporary music and jazz with a major in singing. Dimash also completed a musical master class on Broadway and has a master's degree with a concentration in composition. He completed his studies with honors. Dimash did not fit into the traditional image of a singer in Kazakhstan and was heavily criticized. Even his singing teacher forbade him to sing in falsetto (interview with his first singing teacher - th-cam.com/video/V7hkcKYAnhg/w-d-xo.html ... but Dimash was undeterred.
As a child he performed at concerts and took part in various competitions. In 2012, Dimasch won the Grand Prix of Kazakh young singers “Schas Kanat” (“Young Wings”). In the same year he received first prize in the Ukrainian TV competition “Vostochnyi Bazaar” (Oriental Market), and a year later he won first place in the Kyrgyz international festival “Making Asia”. In 2015, Dimasch won the Grand Prize of the Belarusian music festival “Slavyansky Bazaar” (Slavic Market) - a milestone in the young singer's career.
The career jump to global megastar came in January 2017 after his participation in the Chinese singing competition “The Singer”.
In 2016, Dimash turned down the offer of an engagement at the National Opera in Astana (capital of Kazakhstan) because he wanted to go his own way. He created his own genre: neo-classical combined with classical, folklore and other styles like pop, rock, R&B and jazz. We lay people say “Popera”. Dimash not only sings in all genres, in some of his own compositions he brilliantly combines a wide variety of genres and styles and never ceases to amaze us dears. Dimash cannot be pigeonholed. 😃
Dimash is independent and has full artistic control over himself. His father founded the company "DimashAli" with a friend (his son's name is Ali).
In 2017, Dimash surprised everyone, not only in China. His first album was certified 1x platinum in 37 seconds, 3x platinum in 47 minutes and 5x platinum in one day.
He opened the eyes of his critical compatriots. Today, Dimash is his country's "cultural ambassador" and a "national treasure" (no official title). He himself is a proud Kazakh and patriot.
Dimash plays at least 7 instruments, traditional dombra is a must in his family. He speaks 3 languages: Kazakh (mother tongue), Russian without an accent (second language in Kazakhstan) and English. So far he sings in 16 languages (phonetically). Dimash says dancing is difficult for him. But he moves great on stage and his hands speak. He is a grandios and sensitive story teller. Dimash trains his voice 3 hours every day...but he says: "You don't have to know how hard I've worked, you just have to enjoy the results."
In professional circles, Dimash is considered a lyrical baritone with a typically wide range. Some believe that he does not sing his high notes as a countertenor but as a natural soprano. He is the first singer to sing all 5 voices: bass, baritone, tenor, alto, soprano.
His current pitch range is G0 - D8 (outside the piano), 7,7 octaves! At least the Dimash shows us so far. 😃

Dimash's 'heavenly' vocal abilities, from bass to coloratura soprano, are difficult to classify. They are not only limited to the enormous range of over seven octaves and the mixture of all musical genres, but it is also the incredible command of his voice and the ability to touch people emotionally and surprise them again and again. Such skills are very rare and can only be acquired, maintained and perfected through relentless and never-ending training.
Dimash doesn't drink alcohol and of course he doesn't smoke, he doesn't drink iced drinks and he doesn't like socks. He loves fire and water on stage, of course only as stage sets. 🤣

Dimash is a very handsome, attractive man and is on the list of the most handsome men in the world. He is a popular model all over the world. The best designers in the world court him and are inspired by his music. He doesn't just wear her creations on stage.

Im by no means very knowledgeable about dimash, but from what i know he speaks 2 languages fluently (Russian and Kazakh i believe) and is learning mandarin and english, however he somehow sings in like 14 languages, classically and contemporary trained and hes my age which i dont consider old (29). Hes already a force to be reckoned with no telling what he'll be with even more time, from what ive seen his lower register has improved a lot since just a few years ago.
