😂😂😂
@@LaughingTeddy And Skoda still left hungry for sales.
Due to senseless Indian buyers@@ravindradaundkar9905
Not true, sales are the biggest proof of how Sedans are failing in India. If you like sedans then say it, no need to generalise it for all of India.
😂
Bought my 1.5 DSG from my hometown Kolkata, drove it to Sikkim, to the north zone, Yumthang, Katao, in black ice areas. The car never disappointed despite having only 4x2 setup. It's effortless to climb steep hills and a sheer fun to use the paddle shifters. Then drove it back to Bangalore where i reside. It handles highway like a breeze.
I feel pity when i see ppl buying large SUVs just for the size. They dont know what they're missing out on until they drive these german cars. You can casually accelerate past 150kmph and won't feel a thing.
Ever wondered people have different preferences? Narrow mind typical Indian.
Very true. After driving Taigun 1.5GT , I come to know that what is missing. Driving is effortless, especially handling and we can drive comfortably at 130km , doesn't feel speed inside

VW and Skoda cars are Always Fun to Drive.. I'm having Virtus 1.5 TSI GT.
Loved it
Got kushaqs base model rather than getting top models of lower segments…. Puts a smile on my face every time I drive.
Ambition 1.0 l manual. I am loving it
I have tornado red style AT
I unlocked 40 plus features by vag unlocked
Features unlocked krne mai warrenty void nahi hoti hai
Stage 1 krne mai hoti hai
Rear Drl bhi on krdia
Off roads mai gadi sea level se kitne ft pe chal rhi hai woh bhi show krta hai
I have amplifier under co-driver seat
And harmonkardon subwoofer already installed by company by Skoda sound system in between spare tyre in boot and have 10 inch screen too
75k km completed it is amazing car
@@jagdishpurohit4914 - can u tell which features u unlocked... can i do for lower varients...ie active or ambition
Bro can you confirm the power of 1.0 engine. Is it enough for hill steeps (once or twice trip/s a year) or need to go to 1.5 for that.
bro im from tamilnadu and i dont hindi but since you give captions for every video ur content will reach to a lot of people in india. i like ur content very much and keep growing❤❤

Sedans are best no matter what you say
Edit1- biturbo media now you gotta make a vid on the best sedan ie honda city it’s public demand ig
Driving a sedan is next level and ultimate joy. Nothing can come close.
I am a hot-hatch lover but i can't deny with your statement.
People have preferences man...I personally don't like the 'sitting in' feeling of sedans and prefer the higher off the ground feeling. To each his own.
Everyone has different opinions and choices, you can't impose it on everybody else🚐
@@TheTwinPost I respect your opinions. But most driving pleasure is with sedans. I have driven SUVs, hatchbacks but when it comes to maneuverability of the vehicles, no match for sedans.
Preference is a different thing but the opinion should be honest based on facts and experience.
You forgot to mention one of the best feature of this engine "cylinder deactivation technology". It lets you get a better mileage despite of being 1.5 ltr block.
Yes it’s a very good point. Hence the car gives a decent mileage even for such a high performance engine.
How much mileage you are getting?
@@siddharthasarkar9134 it fluctuates a lot based on the traffic conditions and the way you’re driving. Under usual traffic 12-14 km pl. extreme traffic 10-10.5.
On highways it gives around 16-16.5 . All the above with ac on.
For heavy traffic driving which one is better, 1.0 or 1.5
You forgot the most important factor 5-Star GNCAP Adult & Child Protection. That's the most important one ... people looking for a good drivable car with safety
I am a proud owner of Kushaq Monte Carlo 1.5 DSG and I love it. Driving this car is a pure joy and i have never felt bored when I am in it. Be it highways or mountains this car always gives you happiness while driving. Almost zero body roll, remarkable handling and driving dynamics makes it only 2nd to sedans in my opinion. By the way, I don't mind it being smaller than its rivals and I love its design. It's a timeless one.
Cause it has stiff suspension thats why it has 0 body roll whereas slavia has more comfort
I did a test drive for Monte Carlo 1.5 MT and damn the driving this handsome beast was so much fun. Buying it in few weeks.
One correction
VW Taigun was the first car in India which brought connected lights here
So the trend was started after kushaq was already there
so true..
So glad u decided to make car reviews. Love the format. Easy to understand and quite entertaining.
Bought a Taigun 1.5 DSG a year back after test driving almost all the cars in the segment. Yes creta was very tempting especially after going through the feature list but the Taigun pleasantly surprised me. Even after 1yr of owning it every time I drive it puts a smile on my face. The Kushaq and Taigun are seriously underrated yes the price is on the higher side but these cars give you the highest safety (5star GNCAP) in the segment! A great engine mated to a quick shifting gearbox, adequate features and unmatched driving dynamics. Yes these VW 2.0 have their flaws but you really need to own one to truly appreciate how well engineered and how lively and fun the Taigun And Kushaq are.
How are the ventilated seats? Are you satisfied?
@@adaiprods Yes the ventilated seats work well it's kept my back cool and dry during the summer. Although the AC could be better when compared to creta/seltos but it provides adequate cooling. You will just have to set 2° lower compared to creta (22° in creta = 20° in VW). That being said I feel the AC together with Ventilated are adequate enough for the Indian summer.
How much it's maintanence cost and it's mileage
Finally Booked it and expecting it within a week. 1.5MT MC model with good deal
I have the slavia 1.5 manual and trust me when i say, it just gives me thrills when i drive this car, beforw this i had the ecosport ecoboost, so even that car was purely based on driving dynamics and sheer fun, so coming from that i had no other option but to go for this beast for the same pleasure
Even I have 2018 ES and I think only skoda/VW can match its driving dynamics
I have 1.0 but man driving this is pure joy... Especially handling is one another levels
This car has the longest wheel base in the segment which results in more leg space
I own skoda kushaq 1.0 manual and i love the performance specially in turbo mode
My alto also has 1.0 manual :)

I think kodiaq is the best skoda out there in the market. It is practical and a good offroader but it comes with a price tag btw love your videos
Much better than a Fortuner in almost all the categories. Still, It's India so people won't go for Classy stuff.
Proud owner of Skoda Kushaq 1.5 Manual .... Feels like heaven behind the wheels.
We own a Taigun (1.5 L). Completed a year of ownership last month. What a car ❤❤
VWs & Skoda are under-appreciated. These cars are the best engineered cars.
Agreed
I love the subtle touches given by Skoda in all their variants. The finishing and everything just looks extra premium and ofcourse performance is no secret. My personal favourite
Nice compilation, 2 more key advantage is all major safety features are available in base model itself and this 1.5 has ACT.
Moreover ESC,multi collision braking , Hill hold , electronic diff lock,Traction control are available in base model itself .
Jo 1ltr ambition aata hai woh bhut jyada underpower hai. Power comes after 1800rpm
A Taigun owner🙌🏻pura sahi bola . This car is for car enthusiasts
bhaiya service kaise mil rhi hai😅
meri skoda Kushaq ki service to third class hai 😢
@@dholakpurkirakhi434 very good
I believe one of the reasons it looks smaller than the competition is its longest wheelbase in the segment. It obviously helps the legroom but more importantly helps in the dyanmics of the car.
Another feature of this 1.5 TSI engine is Active Cylinder Technology.
I have also driven this car. Performance superb. Just lag behind in the feature, length as you said. And not many people has made video regarding twin cylinder technology at less load.
Taigun and Kushaq are based on MQB-A0 platform same as that of Global Polo. So Polo has continued in India in a differenr form. And thats why Kushaq and Taigun are smaller than Creta and Seltos.
But its also why they have better driving dynamics too!
haha one of the best cars I own. I would even choose this over the XUV 700 and even the innova when I go to road trips. Sure this thing is a lot smaller but the fun is immense. I usually travel with my girlfriend so no one really cares if its an innova or this. The 1.5 is a true beast especially with a manual. Its so fun
I own a skoda for 10 years and believe me skoda is price worthy in every sense
And the best hatch that is still on road is skoda fabia
Real.hot hatch
Seadans Are Best Cause I Have An Salvia It's A Nice Car

last month while hunting for new car ; we visited many showroom, various test drives, different model's but back of mind I was tempted for *SLAVIA* from 2022 when it was showcased in Camo version . we visited Skoda dealer in feb . they were pushing us towards Kushaq maybe because of ,
SA was telling disadvantages of Slavia/ Sedan , its low seating position, length, etc.etc.
as i Was driving Wagonr so i WASN"T lOOKING FOR A big crossover, what i need was big boot and comfortable Drive ,
SO I was Sure For Slavia A Big Crossover EATER .
i GOT *SLAVIA* LAST MONTH ... and I'm EXTREMLY Happy FOR IT.
And YEs 1.0 L TSI is not Underpowred at any Situation./..
I Still own My WagonR and will be Replacing it with new Skoda sub 4m car in 2025 as it is completing 15years in next year ,
What I like about Kushak is its feature to shut 2 of its valve at cursing speed on highways to be more efficient.
Shut 2 of its cylinders at cruising speed = That destroys the engine.
@@drury2d8 maybe VW needs to hire new Automobile engineer then😂
@@drury2d8 out of India literally har company yeh technology ko use karta hai and ap scientist keh rahe ho ke that "destroys the engine" 🤡
Nowadays many people don't know the magic of a sedan... Recently from the last few years the public changed their choice and these companies also turned their thinking into business...
Sedan is the best example of Aerodynamics, because of this feature only it moves fast and gives better mileage than any hatchback or suv cars... The boot space is also bigger in the sedan when compared to a suv or hatchback car.. sedan is more stable at cornering. Road stability is higher in a sedan...
Companies have to pay more tax if they manufacture a sedan which is above 4 metres in length, hence they moved to hatchbacks and suv or mini suv and started manufacturing a car below 4 meters in length so that they can escape from tax payment to govt... They offered some new features like sun roof and other eye catchy things and started telling hatchbacks and suv cars are the best cars...
Drive Slavia back to back with Kushaq you'll notice the difference right away. Kushaq is a great car but I think Slavia is more value for money, better in almost every aspect and the road presence isn't comparable as Slavia has the Octavia vibe at least from the outside.
Great video btw👍🏼

One of the most sensible and no nonsense video about Kushaq.. this video will help clear all your doubts about the car.. I’m getting mine next month..😍

You are one of the best content creator.. I am your fan.. Keep it up bro. I own a kushaq 1.0 automatic and i am really happy with everything. Milage 12kmpl in city and 18kmpl on highways. Performance superb and luxury outstanding. Handling is wonderful that recently i escaped a major accident just because of its superb handling. And thats the day for which you buy such cars. A practical SUV. i have its 2nd top and baught it in 17lacs.
I have booked a Taigun 1.0 GT line which will cost me around 17.2 lacs. This will be my first automatic car, so I'm hoping everything will go fine according to plan.
I own a Taigun 1.0 MT. Have to say not disappointed at all. Handling and Driving dynamics makes the money worth it.

Slavia owner here ....Sedans are the best. ..even better than any 7 seater
Kushaq and Taigun are the extended version of Polo that's why Polo is discontinued.
It is intelligently sold as SUV with premium price at around 15 to 24 lakhs but underneath is a hatchback where Polo was selling around 8 to 11 lakhs.
Cleverly they played all us Indians.
Though I haven't tried my hands on other brands but Honda cars give me much confidence. So Honda elevate is my choice. At present I own & drive Honda Amaze [D]. I had drove it in extreme rains in Shayadri ghats [late night with family], High speed [140 max], Max seats in car and load in Nainital [kumaon region], MP- Chattisgarh-Odissa jungle areas.
Have been a long time subscriber. Thanks for the great content.❤
Btw is this vid sponsored?
These cars, Kushaq-Nexon-Creta etc. have a better term "crossovers". Some would like to mock it saying it's raised hatchbacks.
It doesn't have to give pure SUV characteristics because crossover do the Job in certain areas like cities very well compared to what people want SUV to be a 4×4 hardcore.
Ya they are compact crossover s. There are another group called subcompact crossover like venue, sonet . There is also full crossovers like XUV 700,mg hector, harrier , safari . All of them are crossovers not suv. A suv must have body on frame chasis otherwise it becomes a crossover
Nexon is a sub compact suv. A segment below than creta or kushaq.
Nobody cares man. Don't get too caught up in semantics.
Thanku so much giving honest information…. You saved me from by buying 2nd hand premium car in low price…..
You are great content creator
Where did the heart gone! Noo
they are also launching a sub 4 meter next year that's is really to look forward to
hope it is priced under 10 lacs
Skoda name is enough in this segment, no needs xtra large car to get into notice.... its running machine you never gonna feel when driving 100 speeds. i have kushaq ambition really love my car
No matter what both skoda and VW are really Fun driving car especially their engine and power with comfortable driving.. I tried Hyundai Verna, mahindra XUV, Tata nexon and Beleno but ended buying VW vertus 1.0 lava blue MT.. and this New VW 1.0 litre is Equivalent to 1.6 litre engnies..great power with beautiful road presence..
Its very easy to make a car fast by strapping a turbo to its engine.
But making a NA engine powerful is very hard. Engineers will understand.
Eg. of best NA engines tell me in comments.

Very apt presentation
I’m using this vehicle and it’s fantastic 👌
I tell you after test driving each and every car i went for kushaq today i completed one month of owning this car. Btw this is my first car

Bro how has been your experience with driving manual. I am contemplating between manual and dsg.
@@ArchitAggarwal1291 while people feel that automatic makes City driving easier, it is a different story for me. After driving for long like 4- 5 hours , on the 6th hour I feel driving should be easier than this. My left leg starts hurting from clutch usage. Yes the clutch is a little harder than usual. Rest assured it is one of the best manuals your money can buy
Kudos to you brother 🎉 your indepth approach is just 👌🏽
148 bhp
I took the test drive and I loved the drive feel but here are the problem's are
1. If I am paying 23L+other charges for a car which looks like b2 segment car
2. 23L for a 5 seater with less shoulder space for rear passenger doesn't make sense
3. Service and reliability issues
Things I liked are already mentioned in this video
Hyundai "N line" is specifically targeting them... by stiff suspension, good steering feedback, tuned gear ratio and sporty exhaust.
after seeing the service review of Mahindra and tata, and quality of Suzuki may be i go to this brand
One point left. Safety it's best in this car.
Good video man!! This review is very unconventional but I liked it . Expecting more such videos from you❤

Thank you for such informative video. I really enjoy your content.
150bhp 250NM torque. Kushaq looks small but inside It looks and feels bigger. That's German engineering. Suspension of kushaq is better than even its competitor Taigun. It feels more comfortable on rough roads. Plus simply clever touches of skoda are very useful in daily life.
Need a little help 🙋, i was thinking of buying kushaq base model ,is it worth it to put 12 lakh on road ,on kushaq?you have a big understanding about cars, please suggest
Driving Kushaq is a different experience altogether. It's dynamics are best in the segment. If you love driving dynamics & prefer safety then go for this beast.
Instead if your preference is good looking features inside the car & fancy looks then you have many other options.
There is no comparison of safety. Our car met with an accident when I was travelling with my family. It saved us.
Please make this type of video car reviews....loved it
keep the videos comming... so informative and outstanding made content,
I like your videos so much so, that I keep waiting for a new video. Good Job Sir! God Bless You!
Unpopular opinion : Elevate has best balance between Ride and handling.( Atleast for me😂). Engine through something else. We have to rev the nuts out of the engine to keep pace.
Audi Q2, Skoda kushaq and VW Taigun. All have the same gearbox and same 1.0 TSI and 1.5 TSI engines. Audi design language is luxury ,Skoda design language is agressive, VW design language is subtle. They all comes under the same hood VAG (Volkswagen automobile group).
Skoda designs are clean simple subtle and clean❤
Kushaq is the legend... known to whom has drive....
Bro, it's not 140 Hp ..... it's 150 hp for ur correction
Kushaq sell is low. It's promoting VW/Skoda. Misleading video
Appreciate your input brother. One thing, forget what I own but I believe you should also cover Suzuki’s influence on Indian Market. It’s great our indian brands are growing but what Suzuki does which forces us to think. Like example comparing with Sonet, Venue etc. I thought Fronx won’t get the love but oh man they pull the trigger smartly and trust over the years on Suzuki.
Pls put some light on this matter.
German cars are always fun. But that's not what Indian mass market demands.
Great car though.
fun fact the indonesian version of the vw taigun gets a panoramic sunroof.
I am a big fan of your content… Kash Indians aisi gaadiyonko samaz paate…
But I think 1.0L engine is more value for money for money and reliable specially against DSG… And trust me Creta aur Seltos bachiyaa lagati hain iske handling ke saamane…
I have a kushaq 1L tsi manual. And I can say it's the best car one can get under 15 lakh.
I am owner of 1.0L taigun… and I am happy for my spend… 1.5L DSG is good but I went for TC for it’s reliability and its performance is more than enough for my driving style and indian highways… 100+is very normal speed for these cars…
Problem is cost cutting and DSG and Megatronix. and Tyres quality and break pads, and rest is taken over by after sales services.. so that sums up VW .
Kushaq and Taigun is Best Car in sub 30 Lacs Range, I have XUV700 also but these Germans dynamics are on next level.
Milage,on road price ,AC unit & ground clearance matters Skoda Kushaq.
Identifying Creta, Seltos, Hector, Kushaq, etc. as SUVs clearly shows how Indian market has miles to go before it looks ripe. These cars are just beefed up sedans with a higher ground clearance.
Except the GC, there is barely any difference from sedans.
For clarity, SUVs need at least a 4-wheel drive system to fall within the classification.
I always like your analysis. Thank you
Proud Kushaq Owner 💯
