My take on this is that David tried to talk sense to Harry about is ongoing issues with his family and tried to get Harry to tone down and try to reach out to his family and Meg didn’t want this, so she ensured that that relationship was scuppered

My thoughts on what happened…Victoria didn’t respond quick enough/hand over all the free clothes/do exactly what MM wanted. She’s done. David didn’t accept or return her, er, “blatant friendliness” He’s done. So they were of no use to her and had to go. As for leaking information, wouldn’t they have had to spend more than a Hi, how are you?, No, I’m not giving you an entire wardrobe for free, to have info to leak? 🧐
