Fr. It’s not that they’re shit. We saw their potential years ago. They had more passion in their old concerts. They didn’t really let fame get to them. But now that they’re so popular, they’re literally putting in bare minimum and as an old blink, I feel disgusted. It’s like they don’t care anymore now that they made it. Popularity won’t die overnight so why bother giving their all on a performance like other groups who be slaying like rent is due.
I am a Blink, loved them since the beginning of their days. The reality is that most idols I have seen, are still in the dancing room practicing their choreographies regularly, or keep taking vocal lessons even if they debuted long ago. We see idols like Taemin always in his dancing room perfecting his art. We see idols like Baekyun which is a power house of vocals still perfecting himself with vocal lessons. Someone might have all the talent in the world but is not enough without hard work and continously working on polishing it. The truth is that in recent years all that BP do is to appear at events, make brand campaigns, play in s*tupid shows which ruined their image, take on controversial stages, etc. I dont see them being dedicated to their craft and music anymore.

BUT after 4D and more hiatuses, they just seemed like they hated what they were doing. Which Jennie constantly talked down about performing the same songs or wishing for more. I think they did start resenting their work and obviously when they get something new, they kill it. But with performances, their stamina goes down like they realize they hate their music right in the middle of the performance. I wish they had freedom to really get what they want out of the music industry if it's obviously taking a toll on how they perform and we know how well they can.

See this is what I pointed out in some other video and blinks came at me saying that they're tired of being an idol and need rest like dude they're on a freaking world tour and one of the most popular kpop group, they need to work hard cause it's only because of K-pop that they're famous. You can't say that "they made K-pop famous" that doesn't even matter, the thing is that if there was no K-pop, they wouldn't even be here right now. There are SO MANY other groups that try SO HARD and they deserve the kind of fame this group has, because they pit far much more effort in their songs and their job. For example other groups like Twice, Itzy, Skz, Gidle, almost have at least 2 comebacks a year meanwhile blackpink has one comeback every 2 years and then it's not even a full album. The least they could do is perform good in front of the crowd.
Actually about the comeback and album thing~ it is not Blackpink's fault. It is YG. Treasure Jihoon said himself in a show that YG doesn't let them produce more songs and albums....even if they try so hard to make more comeback. So I think the same happens with Blackpink too. But I agree that they must have given their 100% in their concert. Because they are not only the best gp in the world but also they are the best group in the world, 2023 (Time magazine ~ entertainment of the year). So afc people feel disappointed by them if they lack their idol skills.

Having been to bp Coachella weekend 2 in 2023 and then watching lsf weekends 1 and 2 I do feel like there was a lot lsf’s label handled poorly with weekend 1 for the group. Like idiotic levels of planning for the geographical environment and the sheer lack of live experience LSF has together as a group. Last years K-pop rep from BP and Jackson wang had YEARS of serious stage experience. Ateez has years of experience as well. I didn’t watch aespa’s set in 22 but understand it was shorter which seems a bit physically easier to handle as they went in with a similar level of experience to LSF. this is all to say, I feel Source was too gung ho to follow through with having their own group near headliner status without following through with a set that could realistically be met by the group in the expected environmental conditions. LSF is their only client, the fact weekend 1 was so bad and weekend 2 exponentially better points to a lot of half ass planning.
Yes i agree bp did well and much btr than lsf... we're just talking about the inconsistency of their performance quality across concerts in different regions/countries. its not fair if they killed it on a global stage like coachella (anyone could just tune in on youtube to watch it live) or in the more popular western countries.. yet flop in concerts in other countries (usually in Asia) .. like these pay roughly same $$ to see them perform and hv a good time, not to watch them display their disinterest or depleted energy😪 miss the old stable cool bp performances

Blackpink is human too.They have been performing concerts around the world for such a long time that it is no wonder they are tired. And people say that Blackpink doesn't try to do anything. While some people tend to use blackpink's clips to call attention to their favorite groups.📍I think you should be ashamed.
It's possible, but it's the company's fault and not Blackpink's for the way they performed. Companies will be very strict with their idols if they want them to give a good performance, they will force them to practice day and night. In this case, they probably don't care about Blackpink anymore or most likely they made them put on a lazy performance on purpose just to get the fans talking about them more. Look at all the different videos on this issue and all the comments talking about them. It's crazy. This would not be happening if they gave a good well-rounded performance, there wouldn't be anything special to talk about.

Like they were performing in front of a large audience after 4 years , they were soo worried, nervous, & even they also forgot choreographies & their Places , even forget the lyrics & confused..... So born pink tour started getting hate, but since of their Europe tour , they improved a lot , especially in Asia they are singing live , without doing any mistakes , soo energetic & confident... They did the biggest K-pop Concert of all time at Indonesia with over gathering 135,000 fans for 2 days! Even it was raining still they didn't stopped! They solded 30,000 additional tickets at the day of concert! & Currently they did their Concert in Japan and it was soo good! 🎉

It's really hard to sing and dance for a long time while you are not feeling well. I am a Blink, loved them since the beginning of their days. The reality is that most idols I have seen, are still in the dancing room practicing their choreographies regularly, or keep taking vocal lessons even if they debuted long ago.
We see idols like Taemin always in his dancing room perfecting his art. We see idols like Baekyun which is a power house of vocals still perfecting himself with vocal lessons.
Someone might have all the talent in the world but is not enough without hard work and continously working on polishing it.

BUT after 4D and more hiatuses, they just seemed like they hated what they were doing. Which Jennie constantly talked down about performing the same songs or wishing for more. I think they did start resenting their work and obviously when they get something new, they kill it. But with performances, their stamina goes down like they realize they hate their music right in the middle of the performance. I wish they had freedom to really get what they want out of the music industry if it's obviously taking a toll on how they perform and we know how well they can.

See this is what I pointed out in some other video and blinks came at me saying that they're tired of being an idol and need rest like dude they're on a freaking world tour and one of the most popular kpop group, they need to work hard cause it's only because of K-pop that they're famous. You can't say that "they made K-pop famous" that doesn't even matter, the thing is that if there was no K-pop, they wouldn't even be here right now. There are SO MANY other groups that try SO HARD and they deserve the kind of fame this group has, because they pit far much more effort in their songs and their job. For example other groups like Twice, Itzy, Skz, Gidle, almost have at least 2 comebacks a year meanwhile blackpink has one comeback every 2 years and then it's not even a full album. The least they could do is perform good in front of the crowd.
Actually about the comeback and album thing~ it is not Blackpink's fault. It is YG. Treasure Jihoon said himself in a show that YG doesn't let them produce more songs and albums....even if they try so hard to make more comeback. So I think the same happens with Blackpink too. But I agree that they must have given their 100% in their concert. Because they are not only the best gp in the world but also they are the best group in the world, 2023 (Time magazine ~ entertainment of the year). So afc people feel disappointed by them if they lack their idol skills.

Blackpink suddenly looks like the most talented group ever standing next to Le Sserafim
Having been to bp Coachella weekend 2 in 2023 and then watching lsf weekends 1 and 2 I do feel like there was a lot lsf’s label handled poorly with weekend 1 for the group. Like idiotic levels of planning for the geographical environment and the sheer lack of live experience LSF has together as a group. Last years K-pop rep from BP and Jackson wang had YEARS of serious stage experience. Ateez has years of experience as well. I didn’t watch aespa’s set in 22 but understand it was shorter which seems a bit physically easier to handle as they went in with a similar level of experience to LSF. this is all to say, I feel Source was too gung ho to follow through with having their own group near headliner status without following through with a set that could realistically be met by the group in the expected environmental conditions. LSF is their only client, the fact weekend 1 was so bad and weekend 2 exponentially better points to a lot of half ass planning.

Yes i agree bp did well and much btr than lsf... we're just talking about the inconsistency of their performance quality across concerts in different regions/countries. its not fair if they killed it on a global stage like coachella (anyone could just tune in on youtube to watch it live) or in the more popular western countries.. yet flop in concerts in other countries (usually in Asia) .. like these pay roughly same $$ to see them perform and hv a good time, not to watch them display their disinterest or depleted energy😪 miss the old stable cool bp performances

I agree and at this point YG just needs to let the girls promote in their respective wheelhouses. I can see why they're hype, they're pretty girls who matches each other really well. They had good music which differed at the time from concept like teen fresh or cute that was popular sooner. It's possible, but it's the company's fault and not Blackpink's for the way they performed. Companies will be very strict with their idols if they want them to give a good performance, they will force them to practice day and night. In this case, they probably don't care about Blackpink anymore or most likely they made them put on a lazy performance on purpose just to get the fans talking about them more. Look at all the different videos on this issue and all the comments talking about them. It's crazy. This would not be happening if they gave a good well-rounded performance, there wouldn't be anything special to talk about.

I went to two of their concerts, there were absolutely no issues and they were flawless! So born pink tour started getting hate, but since of their Europe tour , they improved a lot , especially in Asia they are singing live , without doing any mistakes , soo energetic & confident... They did the biggest K-pop Concert of all time at Indonesia with over gathering 135,000 fans for 2 days! Even it was raining still they didn't stopped! They solded 30,000 additional tickets at the day of concert! & Currently they did their Concert in Japan and it was soo good! 🎉

Well,yes they has a good talent,but there are even a bit better kpop groups,but they just didn't have enough luck and support to become that famous. Btw don't think that I don't like Bp,I am their big fan! And they are doing great,it is really hard. Also,sometimes they come sick,ill,tired or injured on the concert,so when they don't do their best,just keep it on mind. It's really hard to sing and dance for a long time while you are not feeling well. Jennie even had some breathing issues,so it's better for them and their health to not give more than they can and overwork themselves,bcz if they already are sick or their knee (for example) hurts,if they do too much they can got into hospital and spend there a long time. They are TRAINED for singing live while dancing. I don’t see why blinks can’t take critics where it is MUCH needed. (Also I would like to add that NMIXX has difficult and tiring choreographies, but they are still stable *they are talented vocalists so I don’t expect everyone to be level with them but still*)
I saw them live, and their vocals were all great. To be fair anyone can take a not-so-good moment from a 2 hour long concert from any group/artist to hate on, doesn’t necessarily mean it’s true🤷♀️
So how other groups manage it?
