Adam Beales has been set the challenge for a week to try and be more environmentally friendly! But can he do it? And how can you chance things to make things better for the environment.
Adam B tries to give up single use plastic (with the help of Amy from kids against plastic) She says that you can change your single use bottles, cups and lids, straws and plastic bags to re-useable ones. You can also time your showers. So Adam tries to make his 10 minute showers only 5 minutes long.
He tries walking and avoiding using his car through the week. Cooking with leftovers rather than throwing stuff away! He makes a food waste omelette. Turning the TV off or turning plugs off when they’re not being used. Switching off lights and things left on standby etc with the help of him Mum, Dad, Dog and brother Callum. This is all inspired by the viewers at home and the relaunch of the green badge.
