I don’t normally make comments on things like this but as many of you have mentioned, what Erica is going through a lot of us can relate to. From what I saw from the beginning of their love story, safari was obsessed with the way Erica looked. He was obsessed with her look and that is what drew him to her and made him obsess over her in this unrealistic way. It went from obsession to what it is now because there was never any real love on his part. However just like many women we allow men to woo us based on superficial things we fall for it we ignore the the red signs in the red flags and we allow ourselves to become emotionally attached to immature grown boys. No matter what Erica did in the past which I got a glimpse of on some of the past reality shows she was on, no one deserves to be treated this way. Erica was younger when she did those things and a lot of us make mistakes as younger people. But now hopefully this has taught her to proceed cautiously now that she’s ready for love as an adult. I have personally experienced dealing with a man that rude me told me he was ready for a serious relationship told me he was ready for a commitment got me to completely drop my guard and then started acting like a complete idiot. It hurts and it’s extremely painful and yes this level of stress can physically age a person. Erica is beautiful but yes she does look like she has aged and maybe it’s because she has lost a lot of weight as well. my prayers go out to her and her children because even though she no longer is married to Safari, she still will have to deal with him and see him and every time she sees him she’ll be reminded of the fact that she dropped her guard and was vulnerable and ready for love and ended up getting trashed on by the father of both of her children. Lessons learned hopefully
I agree. A lot of women's metabolism slow down as they get older and you tend to gain weight. Doesn't have to be a lot but I look at myself for example, fasted metabolism ever & after a child age 7 & me coming in to age 28 I've gained almost 7 pounds. Maintaining it but you tend to keep weight. This girls cheeks look hollow. And all that plastic surgery she has is being held up by skin instead of muscle. I think her aging (as little as it is) has something to do with him losing interest. But you live and learn. She has endured happiness and heartache and it's time to move on. Just because he is not the man God intended for her (as she thought) doesn't mean she should stop searching. He will come.

I don’t normally make comments on things like this but as many of you have mentioned, what Erica is going through a lot of us can relate to. From what I saw from the beginning of their love story, safari was obsessed with the way Erica looked. He was obsessed with her look and that is what drew him to her and made him obsess over her in this unrealistic way. It went from obsession to what it is now because there was never any real love on his part. However just like many women we allow men to woo us based on superficial things we fall for it we ignore the the red signs in the red flags and we allow ourselves to become emotionally attached to immature grown boys. No matter what Erica did in the past which I got a glimpse of on some of the past reality shows she was on, no one deserves to be treated this way. Erica was younger when she did those things and a lot of us make mistakes as younger people. But now hopefully this has taught her to proceed cautiously now that she’s ready for love as an adult. I have personally experienced dealing with a man that rude me told me he was ready for a serious relationship told me he was ready for a commitment got me to completely drop my guard and then started acting like a complete idiot. It hurts and it’s extremely painful and yes this level of stress can physically age a person. Erica is beautiful but yes she does look like she has aged and maybe it’s because she has lost a lot of weight as well. my prayers go out to her and her children because even though she no longer is married to Safari, she still will have to deal with him and see him and every time she sees him she’ll be reminded of the fact that she dropped her guard and was vulnerable and ready for love and ended up getting trashed on by the father of both of her children. Lessons learned hopefully
I agree. A lot of women's metabolism slow down as they get older and you tend to gain weight. Doesn't have to be a lot but I look at myself for example, fasted metabolism ever & after a child age 7 & me coming in to age 28 I've gained almost 7 pounds. Maintaining it but you tend to keep weight. This girls cheeks look hollow. And all that plastic surgery she has is being held up by skin instead of muscle.
I think her aging (as little as it is) has something to do with him losing interest. But you live and learn. She has endured happiness and heartache and it's time to move on. Just because he is not the man God intended for her (as she thought) doesn't mean she should stop searching. He will come.

We have all seen Erica and safari on love and hip hop for years but we have FINALLY seen Erica grow as a mother and a person but unfortunately safari has a long way to go and that’s why he wants his cake and to eat it too cause he doesn’t truly see the value in marriage and a family yet, he still has a very young mentality. He said it doesn’t feel good but he caused it. She deserves better and I think we all hope she gets it.

Sucks that most relationships have to be so complicated. It’s almost hard to believe that men and women are actually for each other when we were made to be so different from each other mentally. It’s def a disconnect between the two. Rarely understand each other’s point of view and etc. Even though I predicted they wouldn’t last when they first got together it’s still a real sad situation. Especially for the kids.

It is truly amazing how you can really go back and look at the timeline. How you can look back and really see what Erica means when she said “He asked for this life”. “He wanted this”. “He sold me a dream that I bought into”. She didn’t go into this for a fling once she was in. She really fell in love with him and eventually his goals of a family, house, a marriage, a forever-she really bought into it. And to see the way he pulled the rug out from under her is truly heartbreaking. She might have earned it, but she didn’t deserve this. Nobody does.

Well he finally found some lingering tears. The biggest lesson is don't let love blind you enough to allow a man or woman to treat you like they are doing you a favor. The way Erica tells her words explains her hurt and the way she says letting so many things slide because of how much she loved him, do I at this very moment in my life relate with her. Yet those who cause someones pain or sadness always go by without any consequence or accountability for there impact or negative cause, yet feeling this magnitude of pain😢 is enough to cause shutting down someones life negatively. I Hope Erica finds herself again and she has become a great mother to, hopefully her & Safaree find a place where they can come together for their families wellbeing, im sure they will.
