What is a good neighborhood to stay in if you are visiting Libon for a month to enjoy the festivities?

I'd say anywhere central would be a good so you can visit the festivities on both sides of the city (Alfama side and Bairro Alto side) while at the same time not having your sleep disrupted by all the late night partying.
