I watched this show regularly, but this is one of two shows I specifically remember. I saw that Pilato death effect years before seeing "Day of the Dead" and found it so sick and a bit intriguing (before I got way into horror). Thanks for posting.
I remember watching this on TV as a kid! :D Also, the narrator got it wrong, Regan was NOT possessed by the Devil. She was possessed by Pazuzu the wind god.
In the original movie they showed the statue of Pazuzu, but never specify that it's Pazuzu. and she even says "im the Devil!" so im going to take her word for it, over a sequel, unless you're going by Sequel canon then that's fine.

Wow, this brings me back! I used to love this show, but sadly it wasn't played very often on Discovery Channel in Canada. I'd watch the TV Guide for show times, but it was like once a month in Junkyard Wars time slot. I'd try to tape them all on VHS but I probably only had like 5 episodes from like a year of taping. So amazing that I can just watch all of the shows for free. The future is awesome.
