Speaking as someone who animates Legos a lot I know how hard stop-motion animation can be. This short film's animation is fantastic - the best in a Playmobil film I've seen by far. The illusion of a wide open space, the voices ... everything comes together to make this genuinely awesome. Great job!
I remember watching this as a small child. Loved it then as much as I do now. Got reminded of it today doing course work and had to watch it again. I hope y'all are doing great thank you.
I watched this video so many times when I was younger, around the age of 7. At that time, I couldn’t understand a single word, but I just thought it was so cool to see the Playmobil figures talking, moving and fighting with each other. I suddenly remembered this video today. I’ve grown up and became an adult and I finally understand everything they say in the video, and my lord… it makes the video so much more fun, it’s hilarious! I still absolutely love this! 😂
Thanks! Yesterday, I was actually flicking through my screenplay for the follow up movie and it's even funnier with a faster pace. Sadly, I don't have the free time anymore to work on it, but all hope is not lost. There should be a Viking Five Part 2. There has got to be!
@@macnavi Hey I understand 100%. I'm a College Student now and don't have as much time as I used to to play with friends etc, so focus on yourself first. Glory to the Viking Five!
You would have been five then if you are 18/19 now. It's older (2003) than the video by SmeagolTheGreat (2005). It was actually the second (long) Playmobil stop-motion movie ever on the Internet (Joshua Deicken's Heir to the Throne' being the first one.
that was the best i have ever seen i have playmobil to like romans crusaders lion knights king arther sir lancellot it desurves a 10/10 film made you could put ir on disk and sell them i would totolly buy one
Wonderful!! Look, I´m trying to talk to you since last month, I sent you an e-mail but I din't receve an answer... I make little movie with playmobil too.. but more simple, i would like to know how do you make the playmobil move without appear your hands e so perfectly, i will post a "video respoce", if you want, see what I made.. It's so simple, becouse it was my first animation... ( sorry if I wrote somethig wrong, but I am Brazilian, and my English is not very well) Thanks
Hi Pedro, Seems like I overlooked your mail, sorry about that! If you want to know how I made the moves in the movies, you can read the "Making Of' on my websites. There are two. Making a good animation is a matter of a lot of having a lot of time. Using iStopmotion and a Mac will make it easier as well. Btw, I'm not a professional either. I run an Apple shop. :-D Keep me posted about new movies!
Very beautiful decoration(set) bravo!! And a very good assembly(editing) unfortunately I do not indeed understand English and I was not able to appreciated(estimated) completely your video:/in any case I puts 1 green thumb(inch) and if you have time to come to see my videos and to leave a comment...
Thanks! I know. Me too. I'm hoping my son, when he gets older, will want to help me with that. Even though I moved on doing other stuff, a sequel is on my Bucketlist.
@@macnavi The sooner you get him involved the sooner he'll gain skill. I've noticed you have some more recent train videos. Maybe you should also make some stop motions involving playmobil with some of those trains... Something along the lines of Buster Keaton's 'The General'.

Best quality Playmobil story, video, animation, voice, and sound effects. 5/5 stars.
Love this video, Viking Play Mobil is really cool Because I love Viking's. But really hard to find in my country.
