    Dr. Disrespect, the best streamer to ever do it, takes days off during the week, cuts streams short, skips days, etc... It's definitely possible. These other streamers stream as long as they do because they absolutely choose to.

      @r7788 Exactly! And these other multimillionaire streamers, with no other responsibilities in their lives other than turning on their one camera, are the ones complaining about having to perform their one and only responsibility that they do have, which they are in full control of (they're their own boss). Like.... these guys need to honestly stfu and don't even bring up the conversation. Go answer to a boss and be responsible of an entire department staff and cut your pay by 99.99%. Working 60+ hours, NOT by choice. Do that for 10 years. All while taking care of entire family yourself. Then talk! Otherwise stfu tulips (the streamers). These people hire people to do all the grunt work, then sit on stream and complain, while their editor edits it. What a loser.

    The problem with Hassan’s argument isn’t that he’s saying streaming makes him feel drained after 9 hours. That’s understandable, I would feel drained after 9 hours of streaming too.
    The problem is that he’s acting like streaming is somehow worse than any other job, which is ridiculous.

    My dad used to work for the city as a garbage man. He made good money, but even as a kid that didn’t know or care about money like that, I was proud as hell of him. He was one of the strongest people I’ve ever met. He worked back in the old days before the automated garbage trucks. The man threw heavy loads into the back AND drove sometimes. Sales isn’t physical but requires more mental fortitude.. or at least the ability to zone out but if you are working a role that requires constant communication then zoning out isn’t viable.
      Which did I find harder, well sales because my experience had me working as a labourer with some funny lads and we had a load of laughs. You grafted but fucked around too from time to time. Nobody was micromanaging me, just had to get the cement mixed and ready for the next call. In contrast to sales where you have to be a robot. You gotta be a slob by nature or have goals of being fucking lazy to not mind that shit, and I'm not even a try-hard. The jobs that have made me borderline lose my mind were the jobs where there was no work to be done just sitting there. Went in very early im the morning to her bakery job, then did her 9 to 5 in her corpo job everyday. Once she got promoted in the bakery, she quit her 90k (i think) salary corporate job and was now working full time as a baker. Later she was interested in interior design and she went into that field as well. Once covid hit and her jobs were put on hold, only THEN did she start streaming.

      AGAIN, this whole debate is stupid and senseless because there's literally NO difference between "regular jobs", let alone 'normal' jobs and a streamer, content creator or whatever. It's all job. Some are cool to do, most aren't. Some are well paid, most aren't. Some you are your own boss, totally or to some extent, and in most you aren't. Sure, working the filed is hard. But once I got a gatekeeper job just to have time to study Japanese. A gatekeeper job would be classified as a "regular job" but is EXTREMELY easy to do, and pays nothing. And a brain surgeon would be extremely hard and stressful but well paid and still would be classified as a regular job. A football, basketball or soccer payer would be filthy rich but they don't get nowhere near the despise and hate those other "non- regular jobs" get. It's an artificial division based on pure prejudice that has ZERO basis. If you are getting paid to provide something to someone else it's freaking a job. And there are all kinds of jobs. There is literally NO FACTOR, no OBECTIVE4 factor you could cite to put apart a girl on only fans, or a streamer, in category different than "normal job". Zero.

    Me and my fiancee just had a baby three months ago and since December he has had one or two weekends off. He's been working night shift (6 pm to 6 am) and is now doing 6 am-6 pm 7 days a week for the last month. 84-hour weeks he's doing because he has to, he has to provide and his work has said it's mandatory. He comes home and still takes our daughter for half an hour to let me get a break before her bed time. I will forever be grateful and appreciate his sacrifice so I can look after our baby girl. These streamers are out of touch with reality sometimes and the difficulties people face just to get by.

      Disregarding the useless semantics of arguing over whether they're referring to physical or mental exhaustion, both streamers absolutely implied their job is harder/less bearable than most "real jobs", which is an extremely out of touch take.
      Also whats with the unreasonably aggressive tone? Why are you so insulting right out of the gate? Parenting can be absolutely exhausting, especially with a really young child. I find it more than a little distasteful to go out of your way to be an asshole like that.

He said that no matter what, he leaves work behind the threshold of the building, once he is off, its his life, not works life. In the military, he said behind the gate. He never came home upset or complaining. I did all the time and work a much easier job. I’ve learned alot from my husband, who has never called in sick, and have witnessed do 24-48 hour benders in our rough times and still greet me as if he had been home sleeping all day. @ayochayce8185 Jobs I've had in the past were way harder than the fab shop, but the thing most office people complain about is getting "in trouble" for things and peoples' attitudes. In a fab shop your boss is likely to yell and cuss at you if you mess up, especially if he's the owner. You're lucky if you don't get something thrown at you by a coworker and there's literally danger EVERYWHERE (machinery, busted knuckles, cutting yourself on pieces of metal that haven't been deburred yet etc). Office people whining about "getting yelled at" is the funniest thing. You've not been yelled at quite right if you think your boss being stern is cause to complain. My boss had a stern moment when I first started this office gig and then he apologized and I was like uncomfortable. He didn't even raise his voice or say anything rude and apologized, wtf. 😂😂😂😂

      "both lived as real people." Tha makes NO SENSE at all. Streamers aren't "real people"???
Zero.

    There is an element of "people pleasing" in most jobs. You have superiors you have to impress. You want to be a "manager" or "executive" or "team lead", you have to have to manage people, whether it is talent or personnel management. There is a social aspect to everything you do.

    • @coreydavis1056
      @coreydavis1056 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @JTKing77 we aren't talking "impressing" people. We are talking about just interacting between workers in general. Communicating to achieve the common goal of the organization. And while there is a difference between management and leadership, not everyone you work with, for, or superior to needs all those elements. I don't need to motivate, direct, or mentor all my subordinates. Sometimes you just need to manage them. Set tasks, etc and let them go and make sure they stay focused on the things you give them to do or give them overhead coverage just in case someone approaches you about them.

    • @coreydavis1056
      @coreydavis1056 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @JTKing77 for context when I say impress, I'm not talking about charming your superiors into liking you. I'm talking about behaving professionally and in a manner that will show them that you are capable. Some people refer to that as creating an impression or perception of a person. That's influences evaluations and promotion opportunities. In my line of work, I'm not just my results but I have to show I'm of good character and have morals and values in accordance with our organization. And you can manage people and/or lead them. Talent MANAGEMENT is the concept of putting the right people in the right place of responsibility. Leadership is more providing motivation, direction and mentorship. My definition of leadership differs from yours. It's a matter of perspective. My people are a resource. A valuable one. And you can manage resources by putting them in a place they can be properly harnessed. They are also people, and when I need to LEAD them, I can motivate them to do the job, direct their workload, and teach them. People wanna use leadership like a buzz word because it sounds pretty. But leaders are just managers of people. It requires social skills to understand people and get them to do what needs to be done. And like we stated, that can be physically and mentally draining.

    • @coreydavis1056
      @coreydavis1056 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @JTKing77 so you just admitted that personnel logistics is management? Thus people are a resource that is managed. Point proven. But let's stay on topic. This is about social interactions being exhausting.
      I got the concept of having to charm people from you. You threw back in my face I said "you have to impress superiors." And it's not over complicated, but I'll make it simple.
      Imagine two workers. Both did the same amount of work, but one was respectful in their interactions with other employees and the other isn't. Who is gonna get fired if HR has to choose? The one with an apparent lack of social skills and character. Because that's how we judge professionals.
      The point is you have to express some social intelligence in most professional occupations. And that can exhausting no matter what your capacity is.

    • @coreydavis1056
      @coreydavis1056 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @JTKing77 and the logistics of what? People. We are arguing semantics. You just don't like people being referred to as resources. It's crude. But that's the reality. In this world, people are both a resource and a consumer of resources.

    - They get to say whatever they want.
    - They get to work whenever they want.
    - They get to go wherever they want.
    - They get to talk to whomever they want.
    Name another job that allows their workers to do that. I’ll wait.

      @MasterIceyy 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +11

      Also they can literally do anything for their "work" people stream themselves just walking around, or flying somewhere, it doesn't even have to be from a computer or a desk. You can just be going to get food from McDonalds and stream that, imagine making millions off of buying a $5 meal, or a game studio paying you thousands, to play their game, early access, all DLC's, All skins unlocked, and you don't even have to buy the game.
      Streamers are also fortunate that their outgoings are lower than usual too, companies will throw clothes, shoes, and other products at them just for the advertisement of having them wear it, so they don't have to spend money buying the same stuff that the average person needs.
      I remember watching an interview with an ex-footballer (soccer player) and he was talking about how he'd never brought deodorant, cologne, shower-gel, skin care products, household appliances, cars, clothes, shoes, or phones, and after retirement it took him a few years to learn how to actually shop for himself, because brands and companies would just send everything to him through his agent, and I can imagine its the same for streamers
