@@SparkysAdventure It's a lot of technical stuff but basically CH can't read GH charts correctly if they're stored as midi since the engines calculate which notes are sustains in different ways. If you load the chart up in Moonscraper or EoF you'd probably see that all of the sustains that are "missing" are still there in the chart, CH just reads it wrong The issue doesn't happen with songs in .chart format as far as I'm aware which might be the "accurate" chart Acai talks about but .chart is missing a lot of technical stuff used in the rips, particularly for the later games with drums, so there's no way to get 100% accurate converts across the board with CH as it is right now
I'm confused. Not to bring down the accomplishment, but wasn't it done by Randy Already? That doesn't make this any less impressive, more just confronting the "finally"

Randy's 1 million point run was still the GH3 chart, just slightly modified. GH3 and Clone Hero calculate the points gained from holding sustains differently, so that chart was modified so that the sustains would be worth as much as they were worth in GH3.
As a GH old head that has been around to see basically every major accomplishment in the community since 2008, this is absolutely incredible. Hats off to you, this is one of the biggest GH/CH achievements ever.

This puts into perspective if anything about how impossible it was on gh3, it was literally only borderline doable with overlapping SP so GH3 truly always was out of the question. I think 992 is the highest calculated possible on gh3 and that was with bot precision

@@KyleHUNK what I was saying is that there is a score advantage with the WOR mod apparently. So GH3 high FPS doesn't count? And I believe there is a whammy fix for high FPS.
@@andrewsrgt4879 the whammy fix for high FPS causes the game to get more whammy than intended, there is a score advantage if using higher than 60fps without the WOR mod. The WOR mod just does it on steroids basically.

For sure. The reason an extra 200k is able to be squeezed out is due to the star power overlapping. GH3 didn't have that.
