Hi indra, just a suggestion from my side.
Watch short english series of your interest(genre). If you find a dialogue that you can use in any conversation, then write it down and mimic that.
Watch the content of your interest in English. English songs, movies, series, news, ted talks, blogs everything. This will boost your learning.
I've been doing this for the last 2 yrs.
I can see the changes in me. Would recommend you this.
Also, you're improving a lot. Keep learning.

She is very much interested in finding mistakes while you speak, rather than let u to speak and having a fun chat with you. It's like humiliating your partner.
She's there to have conversations and correct if something is grammatically wrong. It's actually a good think. You get to know your mistakes right away. Also, She's only correcting when the particular topic is completed.
@@somyyachaudhary4661 I'm not exaggerating myself, I did my IELTS with 7.5 band in speaking. I never focused on grammar, yeah I totally with you if there is someone out there to help you it will be good but your English has to sound natural we Indian focusing more on grammar rather than pronounciation, adequate grammar knowledge is enough, focus on other things like phrases and vocabularies. But i think the purpose of talking here on this app with a good speaker is to have flowing conversations as well as to know where you can improve. Here, the way she was telling him the mistakes was very polite. She was also interested in the conversation. I think I would want to know my mistakes as well. Anyways, that's just what i think is better for me. Maybe you have different learning style. That's fine. Have a good day :))

Unlike the native speakers from Scotland or England or the US our Indian teachers are more prone to fault finding which as a student I find very embarrassing and disgusting too.
I think the learner should be given the chance to speak the way he or she likes and the teacher on the other end should correct him or her by saying something similar and keep saying more such expressions through a regular conversation rather than through an interruption. That I think kind of demotivates the learner and makes him or her a little shaky.
It's their job to correct the learners' mistakes. There's no point having a useless conversation if the learner is not going to know where exactly he is making a mistake. So I think that would be more humiliating than when you're actually being corrected.

Its a matter of opinion, I guess. I never said anything about having a useless conversation, perhaps you got me wrong on this.
When we speak our own language we don't really bother much about making mistakes, do we ? So why should we be so cautious when it comes to speaking a language that is just required in formal contexts mostly ? People learn from their mistakes and pointing to them constantly can only shake your confidence. I would rather encourage the learner to follow others and listen more before speaking.
@@riddhidasgupta6103 then maybe everybody should just continue talking in their own language only. Why this need of learning English in the first place? In my opinion if you're learning something then you should do that with someone who can correct your mistakes and not just keep letting you talk in the wrong way. She corrected him only after he was finished. She did let him talk in his usual manner but it is her job to correct his mistakes.

Indra is on Cambly also. I have seen his videos with some of the native speakers there. I think their approach towards teaching is somewhat more interesting , in the sense that even when the learner is wrong they don't tend to correct him or her unless it is absolutely necessary.
As for learning a foreign language , I think it all depends on your perspectives. Its the approach of teaching that I object to not the efforts.
@@riddhidasgupta6103 she is also correcting him only in areas where he is actually making mistakes. Cambly doesn't really teach anything. They just let you talk. Here at least you are corrected whenever there's a mistake. That's what they are here for.
