I watch several other automotive detailing channels, and as someone already mentioned, nobody pulls the carpet except you. That nasty crap HAS to sink through the carpet onto the metal floor. You go the extra mile, which is why this is my favorite detailing channel. This was hands down the best seat extractions I've ever seen and the transformation was amazing. Keep up the good work!
Agreed! You HAVE to pull the carpet. I see these guys soaking the carpet with water and vacuuming it up. You KNOW it gets in the padding and never fully dries. GROSS>

Honestly, I have never in my life ever seen the interior of ANY car as abused as the one in this poor Fusion! How you ever brought it back to looking almost brand new is beyond me!!!! I don't know who the people were that owned this car, but they are in some serious need of Parenting Skills!!! The amount of abuse that was done to that upholstery was appalling!!!! That had to take a serious amount of time cleaning those seats, doors, and carpeting!!!!

After hearing this car was repossessed and looking at the interior, I've - unfairly, perhaps - developed a very clear picture of this family. Some cars open a window onto other peoples lives, don't they ? Brilliant work guys.

I made no mention of race, but you can be sure that the drivers of this vehicle would live in similar conditions in a rented house, which like the car - also not theirs - is probably treated with the respect they treat everything. Very pleased they aren't my neighbours. On the subject of race, choose black or white, equal chance, but most unlikely to be Asian or Indian aren't they ? This is just a window on human decency, not race.
The car interior was clearly made much more dirty than it was for the sake of the video. You can tell from the fact that just vacuuming removed most of the dirt and the mats seemed very clean. If a car is actually dirty, the gunk penetrates the mat
@@roshan020297 Roshan, I think you are confusing food and litter debris with dirt. If you'd spent any time vacuuming out a car - or cars, even - you'd recognise the difference. You can cover a carpet with crisps, chips, crumbs, paper wrappers and the like, and whilst it looks dreadful it lifts easily enough. Ground in grease and spilt drinks on seats - such as this vehicle - present the bigger challenge. I doubt the feckless users of this vehicle had it long enough to impregnate the carpet with much, just kids rubbish and spills.

If I owned a detailing business, I would 10000% invest in a MIGHTY extractor, the work the provide is second to none. Amazing what they can do.
I have been detailing for a long time and have done a lot of seat extraction and I have never seen anyone clean seats as well as Mad Detailing. I swear this man must have a magic wand. A Corvette give away sounds like a great idea to me.

And can I say i’ve never seen someone pull out the carpet, show the pockets of the back seat being extracted, and the seat belts be wiped down. I’m very impressed and glad i came across your videos! I see the crayon on the door panels and remember back when I grew up. My mom would of tanned my hide for even drawing on the walls in the house much less in the car. These kids will grow up to be ‘Karens’.

The inside of that car must be the most disgraceful thing I’ve seen on a car detailing video. Obviously whoever has that car just let kids ruin the inside and do whatever they wanted. They should be prosecuted for car neglect, and child neglect allowing a kid to be in the car when it’s a biohazard. Remarkable turnaround, but you can’t fix the mess they’ve made breaking everything - have they been eating the wheel and gear selector? Inside of that car needs an exorcism.
My mom and my sister had 3 kids each and neither of their cars ever became even 5% of this messy. It's insane
@@palacsintakat The reason for that is your parents are not lazy and you kids weren't that big of a slob. A lot of people nowadays are lazy and don't see the importance of keeping their vehicle clean inside and out, but what they don't understand is the cleanliness of their vehicle it's a reflection of who they are and what type of people they are so when a vehicle's that nasty it shows that they are lazy and just serious slobs that don't care about keeping things that are important to them clean and maintained.
I have to say watching that rear seat being extracted was super satisfying. 🤓

This was such a comprehensive video/detail. You can see how high Foster is setting the bar for everyone else. This video had the clay bar debris shown, the removable plastics from where the carpet snaps in, every single seat extraction shown along with the extraction dumps, no condescending/self-congratulating sales pitches, satisfying wheel cleaning (personal fav), full exterior detail, the full sweepstakes results unedited while someone was winning at high-stakes poker, and the creme de la creme: the carpet removal and deep cleaning.
It's no wonder The DG blocked him but still (imo) watches every video and even names his following videos based on whatever MAD is doing. Has anybody seen the *staged* "Car won in a poker game" video and thought...hmmmmmmm? Of course, you won't see a negative comment on DGs page because he blocks them all, ensuring an echo chamber of props from his fans.

Pretty bad, but I can't help wondering if depression is involved. Clearly the messes involved kids- maybe a single mother who finds it physically hard to get around? Possible- we don't know what's going on there. Addiction of some sort? I do know I feel sad for the kids in this case- baseline cleaning is so very important.

this is absolutely incredible. im pretty good at detailing my personal car but if i seen something like this my first thought would be the interior would need to be replaced. top tier work.
It makes me so happy that these people can take their car to you without feeling judged. Sometimes life gets in the way, depression, single parent etc. This makes me happy! I pride myself in having a really clean vehicle but believe me it's not always my number 1 priority and I don't have kids so I am sure that makes it easier in itself. Love your videos ! ❤️

It’s very impressive to see how much of a difference vacuuming the floor made… of course, that’s nothing compared to the professional finish at the end, but effort to result ratio is amazing. It’s a shame to see cars neglected like this. Some people don’t have respect for anything. Why ruin and neglect something that you’re paying for, or in this case, not paying for. It’s not their property until it’s paid off. They say don’t judge a book by it’s cover but seeing this definitely gives me an indication of what the people that used that car are like.

So for anyone who hasn’t bought the mad acid, as someone who has bought it a few times, it’s beyond worth it. It’s gentle enough to not do damage but aggressive enough to really get that oxidation off. My only gripe is the spray bottle sucks. So I just pour it into a zeps spray bottle. Seems to do the trick. The tube for the bottle it comes in doesn’t reach all the way down. And the acid will eventually dissolve the nozzle.
That being said the product is fantastic. I bought a set of rims for my truck on Facebook market place for $75, planned on sanding and repainting them due to the surface rust. Just for laughs I cleaned them up with the mad acid, and holy crap! They were like new!

I am constantly amazed at what some of the vehicle owners can live with , the filth is unimaginable from my perspective , I can't believe that these folks were not embarrassed by what they did to that car. My wife and I had two cars and three kids and we each worked two jobs for 14 years and our cars were always spotless , show some pride in yourself people !
Just wondering - when you do an extreme detail, do you ever change the car's cabin filter? I just swapped out my old 2003 Subaru's filter, and the AC is cranking now. Keep it in mind anyway.

I am a retired police officer, so trust me when I say this. I have been to houses in the same deplorable conditions. People that let their cars get this way have their homes even worse.
It was never theyre car anyways. It belonged to the bank until they paid for it and since they werent paying for it and knew it was getting repoed they 💩 on it.

When it comes to another sweepstakes, I'd love to see a car like this one. My husband and I rented a 2020 Fusion for a road trip from hoke in Tacoma, Wa to Phoenix, AZ in December 2019. It was a very comfortable vehicle and had lots of bells and whistles to enjoy.

OMG, good job! I also highly recommend using Crocodile Cloth Cleaning Wipes to get rid of grease and oily dirt easily! Try them, they can even clear car seats easily!!

I did my wife's car (when she was my girlfriend) and it looked similar to this. Caked on Boba spills and endless crumbs... Kids are amazing in finding ways to destroy things (intentionally or not). Most "fun" part was the melted gummies in the door handle. Fun times, even without an extractor.
