    Good representation. Although, by adding weight to the deck on the port side while the vessel is listing to starboard, won’t this lead to an increase in the vertical centre of gravity? Subsequently leading to a smaller GM and a reduction in stability.
    Ballast near the bottom of the vessel would be a better solution to this problem.

    Great video, but you shouldn't be doing a ballast op. to solve angle of loll problem without a proper calculations, ballast tanks are not going to be filled immediately, it takes time during which water will reach some level where free surfaces effect will arise and can make things even worse.

    Ballast down? You mean add liquid weight to double bottom tanks?
