I went into a couple owned book shop and fell on my knees sobbing and proclaimed that there was more beauty in that shop than in a thousand churches. Of course they had all of humanity’s stories contained within and they were hand selected with love. They told me about a book written by a Palestinian who had suffered enormous tragedies but refused to give up love and give into hate because…I said I know the because. The person who they told my father was to me I never believed and I never believed that this woman ever birthed me at all.
