Thanks once again for an excellent tip for my next hike. I really appreciate the down-to-earth details because I have no interest in orienteering I just want to get out there and enjoy the outdoors and your trails are usually perfectly suitable for me… Thanks for scoping them all out for us!

One of the hills that got me into hill walking!
As a student 30+ years ago in Sligo, i used to walk out to this one on a Saturday, up and around and back into town, a lovely walk! Then when i got braver, out to Benbulben and others with friends. I still have a special fondness for "the land of heart's desire".
    Thanks Ellie and
    All the best

What a great place to get into hill walking! The hills up and around here are so special, I feel lucky to be living close at the moment. Still have lots of exploring to do here ☺️

What a beautiful trail that looks! I plan to be walking in Mayo and Donegal this September....but I am tempted to have a small detour en route from Achill to Glenties if the weather is favourable on the day. Another lovely and tranquil guide video, and you did a good job of editing out the other people on the trail :). Thank you.

Gorgeous.... What is the distance (Time) from the Knocknarea Hill Walk Carpark to the Queen Maev's Cairn?

I did indeed! How much I give each time varies depending on what change I have, but I do contribute 😆
