Thank you Eric for this channel and series of videos. Much appreciated the effort and the quality of the lessons. This is very helpful on a day-to-day NS dev and understanding NS realm ...
Hi Eric, This is very useful, i would request you to show Suitescript 2.0- loadsearch and manipulating the search criteria and result in suitelet as per the requirement
Hi Eric, been putting off 2.0 cos of the lack or examples as I have been very comfortable with 1.0 like many developers. After watching this video I must say I have a new perspective on why I should give 2.0 a try. (You had me at self-governance for SS). I would like to know if there is an auto complete for 2.0. I use webstorm and have 1.0 LIB added with all the functions? Great work and looking forward to see all your future vids.
Glad it helped! I also use WebStorm but haven't been able to fully get 2.0 working yet. I've downloaded all the JSDocs for the modules, but it appears they're not documented the way WebStorm expects in order to parse them correctly. I've briefly dabbled in fixing them, but haven't put a real effort towards it.
hi sir i need to assign a task to a department . i created a custom task having department selection if i am using a suitescript can i deny the calling of actual task creation by netsuite and using my script access the members in department selected and set value for assignee to the object and call the actual task creation function from my script for all members with a while loop? could this idea is possible?
Hi Eric, Thanks for the tutorial. :) Hope you are still active on YT because I need some help from you. I've been working with SSP Applications and SCA for a while now. Your tutorials on the website have helped me greatly in understanding SS2.0. I was using SS1.0 up until now, but I have to start with SS2.0 going forward. SS1.0 was easy to use with an SSP Applcation since it was globally available, with the right set of permissions. But I can't seem to understand how I can make the SS2.0 modules available in an SSP Application. Can you give me an idea as to how can I 'enable' the SS2.0 modules to be used in an SSP Application?
Glad you're finding the videos helpful! Unfortunately, I've actually never done anything with SCA or SSP applications in either 1.0 or 2.0, so I'm afraid I can't be much help there. I'd recommend you join the NetSuite Professionals Slack channel to see if someone there can help: netsuiteprofessionals.com/
Thanks, these videos are helping as not much data about suite script is available

someone at work sent me to these videos to get up to speed. is there still a website/email list?
nevermind, I think I found it. although there appears to be nothing posted recently.
I took some time off - only about three years or so.
Thank you..
Very useful..
