- One of the games I really looked forward to is Palworld and at the beginning of 2024 we finally get its release. The initial trailer showcased something that resembled Pokémon with weapons and it got me very excited. I wasn't sure what the gameplay would consist of and I was pleasantly surprised that it takes the survival formula from games like ARK and transforms that into a new and fresh formula.
There used to be a Pokémon mod for ARK itself and so the concept wasn't completely new to me, but I had so much fun as I explored Palworld's massive areas and searched for new Pals to capture. There are more than 110 different Pals to collect and they have a great variety with some being really cute and others being really cool. We never really got a proper Triple A open world Pokémon game so this is the next best thing and I hope to see a proper Pokémon game like this someday.
What is also very cool is that you can have your Pals help you in your base and deal with some of the monotone parts of survival games. Though collecting wood and stone is fun in the beginning, it can become very boring if you have to do it over and over again. Luckily you can have your Pals help you out and they will collect wood for you or help you build new structures or even resort to farming.
Seeing your base filled with Pals of all sizes and colors is a truly great sight to behold and it always brought the biggest smile to my face when I returned to my homebase.
At this moment the game launched in Early Access and does not really offer a story narrative or proper endgame. Its clear that eventually we will head to the big, looming tree in the background, but for now that place is inaccessible. There are, however, five main bosses you can clear in towers and that is what I will be focusing on in this video.
I absolutely adored this game and though the grind does become a bit too much towards the end of the game I cannot wait to return and make another series when more sizeable content is added. And of course more Pals! Because even here I gotta catch 'em all!

I just paused to make some burritos. Dont wanna miss this chill adventure, man. I am a looter obssesed with exploring every inch of the map and sometimes It is hard to move on, but you do this without been lost about having fun and showing a good fair glimpse of the game world. @@scottpeltier3977 I feel maybe i judged too quickly but if i dont think of this as Legends Arceus + Minecraft maybe i can enjoy it better. Personally i love survival based games like No Man's sky and i LOVED how this game played i just felt the similar designs might bug me but im giving it another shot and try to play it through abit more like NMS rather than pokemon. It could just be a "how do you play the game?" feeling that i changed for a different type of enjoyment
It's the OG's fault for not creating a game like this even though they CLEARLY have the budget to do so.

You could drop everything heavy into one chest, and quick sort to stack items to keep max slots availible at all times, hope u figured this out eventually,

Watch Nintendo try to do their own pokemon online multiplayer and it falls short of this. We had to beg on our hands and knees to get something like that Arceus game.
Legends Arceus was awful and Pokemon fans never had to beg for a game like Legends Arceus
The only better game pokemon and nintenendo gave us is Sword and shield

Has some entertaining value, more havoc outside the Pokemon criteria. But humanity is dumb bricks when Dr. Stone mechanics play an integral role with Pals as your labor force.
I am so glad someone did a long play of palworld but i just wish the devs can fix these freezes and crashes on Xbox (shoutout to my console brothers and sisters) so that i can do something like this 😅
Also, i hope there will be some more context/storyline to palworld in the future. Great game but i prefer to have something to follow like instead of just being thrown in and play (which hypocritical i like as well so 😂)

Why is my base always deleted in the online game?
Whenever I log in, my old base is deleted and everything I built is deleted. I log it after 20 hours and there is nothing.

i'd say that palworld and pokemon are better than each others in their on rights, palwords has the graphic that everyone want (for some reasons), but pokemon did their story way better than palsworld, i'm team pokemon cause i don't like games with a bad story, but i respect everyone who preffer palworld over pokemons
You do know this is early access right, so there's barely much of a story? Also, this is meant to be Ark Survival, not Pokemon.
I'm a pokemon fan too but what palworld offers that Pokemon does not is the better multiplayer, in my opinion. Since multiplayer is dog on Pokemon. And what I like about palworld is its similarity to pokemon that is not on Nintendo. The amout of people who want to play pokemon without the need of Nintendo is insane.
@dontbreakmr.dinksgrillorel5470 from what I read, it is both. The pals in spheres element is pokemon and the whole survival is ARK. But some people online are referring to Minecraft and fortnite to its building and crafting element so.

This looks incredibly.. amateurish. Even I can clearly tell there is an artstyle conflict between the characters which look cartoony and the environment which looks realistic. This selling 5 million regardless really says a lot about how utterly starved Pokemon fans are lol
