I have a question: they wrote me from SPL that all Director mk2s have dip switches in the back to switch between variable and fixed outputs.They even send me a link to the manual where those dip switches are visible.I do not see it on this video or on the dealer sites.Does your unit have them switches?
Nice. I can highly recommend their phono preamp, the SPL Phonos. This looks like an interesting substitute for my SPL Phonitor 2 since I never use headphones.
I have a SPL Director MK2 in red and love mine. Biggest plus is that it has a tape monitor since I have a cassette and tape deck.

I have the SPL MK2 director and it is on of the best analog pre amps i ever own. I recomend this amp for pro and for Audiophils.

They can’t. This unit is a dac and preamp. You connect it to an amplifier which is in turn connected to speakers.
