Go into your camera app. Turn on the HDR setting. It works so much better! It's faster to focus. I noticed a big difference. I did another video showing how to do it on my TH-cam channel..

I will send you a video showing how to flash the original Google factory image on the Nexus 7 tablet. This process restores everything back to factory and erases root and all. The process should be very similar for your Nexus 4. It should provide you with a good idea on how to do this for the Nexus 4. I hope it helps you get started. BACK UP ALL YOUR DATA FIRST. That way you can get updated.

When I try to install the update, the progress bar gets to about 20 percent, and the it says error. It's a status 7 error and i have android 4.4 krt16s. Pls Help!
Sounds like the update thinks something is not compatible, possibly. I would try a Factory Data Reset, but this will erase all your personal data from internal storage. I'm sure that will work and get you updated. I have all the videos on my TH-cam channel showing how to do this. OTA does not always work it can be buggy sometimes...

No it should install just fine. Then it will have a new build number..
I realize its an app, and I install it and the app give me this message: "the rom developer has not enabled support for the OTA updater! please ask them (kindly)to add support before using this app" do I exit or ignore it?
JCarlos123 You can't take official OTAs once you have installed another ROM. that's why it's been the developer has not enabled support. You would need to go back to stock if you want to receive official OTA updates. It's probably not added to the OTA updater index, so I would EXIT and be careful updating. I do not know for sure if it would work without causing issues. You really should update OTA from original stock ROM.

Yes, go in to your settings on your Nexus 4 phone settings. Scroll through the menu to the bottom and click (about phone) then on next menu page scroll down to (build number) Click this fast multiple times and it will add in the developer options selection on the previous menu screen. Go back and look above (about phone) again and you will now see it there as an option.
