@@lexist2112 I sold my 2016 STI and bought a DTC F80 ZCP. I still miss the STI for its rawness and confidence in the wet, I just feel more connected with it.

Just part exchanged my F82 M4 CS in for a new M4 Comp X drive. When I test drove at the dealership it was insane how good it is. I collect at the end of October. Thank you BMW M for making brilliant cars.
@@shinwang2469 BMW just posted the pricing on the new xDrive M3 at $76,900 plus $995 Destination. If you fully load the vehicle without the carbon ceramic you’ll be knocking at the $100k. 😱

I recently bought an M4 competition xDrive and I highly recommend it - you just get so much more car at a reasonable price hike. Thank you BMW M Division! The driving dynamics are wonderful, the car feels firm and planted in rain and snow and I have the option for 4WD sport with rear wheel bias and also 2WD if I really want to have fun. Besides, no one knows this has an xDrive system so that Audi RS person will get a surprise of their life from a stand still (even w/o launch control)! Hahahaha :) By the way: I had an Alfo Romeo Quadrifolgio before my M, so yes I've experienced rear wheel drive performance driver focused cars before. So, absolutely opt for the xDrive even though the traction control is great on a rear wheel M. There is still a huge difference. Go BMW M!!

At Least for the G82, there's a hardware component in addition to the software. It was one of the features removed from my car during the build due to component shortages.
@@nfavor Your M4 came without the 10 stage traction control??? I wouldn't sign to receive the car without it. Seriously, without the 10 stage traction control these cars are not usable in public roads in 2wd cause all electronic assists need to be switched off. Talking by experience
Other than the drive type customisability and the rear and front diff, is there anything different with the transfer case in the center? I have a 2011 XDrive, and I'm interested in the differences in the new one, but I can't find much on the center TC.
Yeah M Xdirve in M3/M4 is just a another excellent practicality for this already beasts. However, I do not agree to put this system on the super M car like the M2s, Even though I'm sure later it will be just an option available on all BMW product platforms and yeah it should be that's the future

This confirms what I already thought about my xDrive G80, it's a German WRX STI.

Bad luck for any past Mx cars. M Traction Control is based on the ARB system, which debuts in the M3/M4 (for M cars).
