If you are using cornstarch with more water it will always turn out like these crunchies. Amount of water definitely counts. Like if you’ll add very less water and treat it as a pressed powder it will turn very powdery with squeaks. And if you’ll add water to make a paste it will turn like this. Hope It makes sense 😊
